Ever since he was first introduced, Lord Beerus was presented as a big, mean, powerful god whose irritable personality made him a destruction bomb ready to go off at all times, but beneath his scowl and short temper, Beerus is actually a pretty chill dude. From the time he spared the earth to all the respect he’s shown the fighters of his universe, it’s pretty clear that Beerus is much nicer than he lets on.
Well, okay, not that nice, but you get the idea. Beerus isn’t the villain he was first depicted as. In fact, his job is to destroy evil planets, a job that he doesn’t take all that seriously because of his laziness. By the end of Super, it became clear that Beerus actually likes his universe, which is why we gathered some moments that proves he was never evil.

Honestly, I feel that watching beerus eat food is very entertaining due to his reaction with new food, but it also makes me hungry.
Beerus saying "Say something." wasn't a plea for someone to break the silence, it was a response to Champa's last little jest where it seemed like he was going to have some final words for him but instead just silently stuck out his tongue. It was Beerus sort of reprimanding his brother for his foolish act while also subtly admitting he wanted to hear Champa's last words to him.

You forgot to mention that the reason Beerus destroyed Zamasu from the main timeline was to keep the "Deity" of the 10th universe from vanishing from existence and also the fact he cared about Supreme Kai of the 7th so when Zeno gets mad it wouldn't be towards Supreme Kai since he Beerus would also vanish from existence.

Even post Tournament of Power, Beerus is more chill than he use to be at the start of his appearance. Even Surpreme Kai and Old Kai don't seem to fear him anymore. And Old Kai was the one that got trapped in the z sword because of Beerus. (didn't explain how, but Beerus was the one who did it)

Nah. Not even in Battle of Gods. He was always technically neutral, though he has heroic leanings. In Battle of Gods he was an antagonist, but not a full-blown villain like Frieza. Hell, Beerus himself even indicates that he doesn't like Frieza, and he pretty clearly likes the Z-Fighters (particularly Goku, even if Goku irritates him at times) so long as they are careful not to inadvertently piss him off.

@@amineramdan2856 He didn't kill people because the food was bad (if you're referring to when he blew up half of a planet), he did it because they had tried to *poison* him (the poison didn't work, and Beerus obviously noticed the attempt since he outright mentioned that they tried to poison him), so he punished them for trying to kill a God.
Beerus is usually pretty forgiving if you happen to be civil, respectful, and pleasant (look at how he chose to spare the Earth even after defeating SSG Goku, not to mention catching Goku when he passed out and carrying him back to ground level). He's not a "Hero" by any means (though him trying to deal with Zamasu personally indicates to me that he does have heroic leanings and takes his responsibilities & failures seriously), but he's not a "Villain" either (shown by his distaste concerning Frieza). He has a code of ethics and honor, and he adheres to it.
He may be a Destroyer, but that's literally part of his job. His job it to destroy in order to maintain the balance between Life and Death/Creation and Destruction. Beerus destroys while the Kais create. That's why he destroys. It's literally part of his job description, and Zeno even scolds Beerus about being lazy about his job after the Universal Tournament ended (meaning he hadn't destroyed *enough* to maintain the balance in U7, which is why the overall power level for U7 was so low prior to the ToP, there were so many weak beings alive that it basically hid the existence of people like Goku & Vegeta).

And that was a "gag" episode (it was a crossover with Akira Toriyama's first manga series, Dr. Slump, which is where Arale is from) anyway, canonically it didn't actually happen. Otherwise someone *would* have mentioned Arale (and the fact that she wiped the floor with both Goku & Vegeta) at some point later and she would have been under serious consideration for the ToP since she's an OP "gag" character.

Honestly, Beerus bent over backwards to make excuses for not destroying Earth. He couldn't bear the idea of wiping out a planet of such culinary prowess, and even stopped so low as to put Earth's fate in the hands of a tiny little pigman over a game of rock-paper-scissors

I don't think anyone would blame Beerus for sparring the earth cause of its food. We humans make BEAUTIFUL food, and that's an understatement in its best definition.
He's not evil in the slightest. He's just... well, a prideful god! Like in many myths with multiple gods, they tend to act very much like Beerus does, only he is nicer and more understanding. Like if someone disrespects him without knowing who he is, then learns his rank and apologizes, chances are Beerus will forgive them since they didn't know (most of the time and within reason... well, his reason at least).
He even said before in the first Super movie was that he enjoyed killing evil beings because of the trouble they can make for his Universe. That's probably part of him loving his rank and power, but he likes doing it anyway, and it helps the Universe so everyone wins.
Calling him a Chaotic Neutral is a great way to describe him. Because of all of that, Beerus is easily my favorite addition to the franchise from the Super series.

Reasons Beerus went from God of Destruction to Uncle Beerus is cuz 1 . He loves food 2 . Being God of Destruction is boring and spending time with Goku and his friends always manages to surprise him.
