Beerus is the God of Destruction of Universe 7. He is accompanied by his martial arts teacher and attendant, Whis. Beerus' twin brother is Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6. Beerus is the main antagonist of the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film and the God of Destruction Beerus Saga but becomes a supporting character in later sagas.

@@krhashatha1267 its not implied. hes a the god of destruction. he has god ki, which can sense anything in his universe. he wouldve stepped in if he ever thought goku and vegeta would lose and he would stomp broly. he sensed it from thousands of miles away and couldve done so from lightyears away.

And then, he got dragged into fortnite
its sad that Beerus could have been close with his twin but they were probably force to be separated to be Gods of Destruction, probably when they were children. I just wish Toriyama instead of making more new characters in the new volumes and instead dive in more to the current characters introduced like Beerus and Champa. they need more character development , Toriyama should explore more in their relationship and who knows they could be close again, same with Whis and Vados.

@@Dontdoit_ yeah I couldn't get care less about Gronolah, Gas or Moro (its incredible I actually remember their names) the hype died when the tournament of power arc ended watching our boy achieve new level of power but when Toriyama introduceds those new characters that suddenly rival our boys just by fudging wishing, I immediately lost interest. At least Moro had an excuse, his main ability is literally copying/stealing people's power as bullshit as it is but at least its way more interesting than wishing to be OP.

beerus only went to 35% most of the time and when he said 100% he was sayin he went 45%

For those who don't know, the Galactic Patrol saga takes place after the events of Broly. So the ending got the chronological order wrong.

Oooo here's a good question. Is there a god of destruction that's born at the beginning of every universe? Or does the universe get created before a god of destruction is chosen and if the Grand Priest and Zeno think that somebody is strong enough to become god of destruction of that universe, and is given extra abilities and an angel mentor?
Like, beerus was born and he was one of the strongest people in the universe, so he was chosen as god of destruction. That's a cool theory
