- Virtual Desktop has recently announced support for up to three monitors! Imagine gaming on one monitor, watching a stream or video on the second, and doing some quick side work on the third. Or how about creating the ultimate widescreen gaming setup? Let me go over what they have included in this video!

What are you going to use the triple monitor feature for?
This is super cool. It's crazy that this one application can be used for wireless PCVR or for triple monitor productivity now.
I was waiting for multiple monitor support and it works great!
This is very exciting! I can’t wait to try this!!!
im using mac and it wont let me click add monitor, the option is there but its not clickable. Any clue on how to fix this?
Thanks a lot man. I was debating between the meta quest and xr glasses but your videos convinced me to invest on the quest 3. Youve gain a followers!!!
Does the mouse and keyboard work when they're still connected on the computer usind remote desktop?
What's cool is the independent refresh rate, i have 3 screens, 1080p, 2k 144hz and 4k 60hz, i never used the 4k for playing games but with VD, the refresh rate is higher than the hardware max specs so it's a win win. It also supports hdr mode 😊
It's amazing!
Thank you for a very well done and informative video right from the start.
You're welcome :)
excelent video !
Great vids mane!
Much appreciated!
When I lie down in my bed, is the configuration of my glasses faulty for me to stand upright? Can't I work while lying down?
Once they add more then 3 (like 10 or so) then i'll buy VD. for now airlink works great and i can put both my real monitors around me and besides that i can open unlimited program windows until the pc cant handle it anymore.
Nice !
Hello, I wonder if i can use the VD to play some streaming services like Netflix or Disney+? cus some app may end up in a black screen. Thank you very much!!
great video does it also works 3 virgual monitors on mac laptop ?
Haven't got a Mac setup myself, so I can't say for sure :)
aside quest 3. it only support 2 virtual monitors :)
What about comparing Virtual Desktop vs Immersed?
You can watch my "Can VR replace my monitors in 2024 video" for that one :)
Cool!
What’s the difference between VD and immersed besides price?
Immersed was the first one to support multiple monitors, but since VD implemented support, Immersed kind of lost its juice for now (my opinion). Immersed does have some other features that can be cool, I have made another video where I showcase this.
Too bad it only lets me add two out of my three monitors...
How fast does the Wi-Fi speed need to be to use this app?
This is what I read on the net:
"No. Virtual Desktop (and similar wireless solutions) rely on the quality of the local area network from the PC to router to headset, but is NOT affected by whether your outgoing internet connection is good or bad."
quest 3 I can only add one monitor ?I can't add the second one. the icon used to add becomes inactive
You should be able to add 2 extra monitors on the Quest 3.
Did you find a fix for this? Mine was originally working but then started doing this
have the same issue on my pico 4, only 2 monitors in total
Are we able to play games on it?
Yes you can :)
The main question is if the text is clear enough to be readable without straining the eyes
Yes, it is definitely readable. Otherwise, you can always drag the windows closer to your face, hehe. It's, of course, not as good as a monitor, but it definitely gets the job done.
I have been regularly coding in VR since last October, and I have been tweaking settings with amazing results. The biggest thing I have noticed that makes it clear and comfortable is making sure your DPI settings per screen are high. I use 175%-200% for all three 2560x1440 and use ctl + or ctl- to size text per browser or software. Doing this gets rid of anti-aliasing. My text is completely crisp and in focus for me.
@@denni-swanwhat a baller. That sounds fun
@@MrMGR1986 indeed it is fun! I should also include. I use a custom head strap BoboVR M3 to remove pressure from the head by balancing weight, and I remove the face cover to bring the lenses as close to the eyes as possible for a much wider field of view.
Ran out of referrals
I see, indeed. i'm sorry. I thought there were no limits to the referral link, but it only allows up to 3 people only.
0:04 may allah promote you to a central air conditioning unit
Haha, you recognized it!
Only on windows 😑
It's also on Mac?
Thank you. There is a delay from your real monitor and quest monitor?
Depends on your network, my man. 5G bandwidth should do the trick.
@@reality-rise the adding of more virtual windows than you have physical screens I mean. So if I have 1 physical monitor on windows I can still create more virtual screens. If I have 1 physical monitor on macOS I can only create 1 virtual window.
They've said macOS is coming in the future sometime
@russelllapua4904 Ah, okay, my bad, but glad that it's also coming to Mac :)
the quest UIis fucking ugly that's a really turn off for me
