I really gotta get out more. Was not doing much street photography since covid, just personal daily captures with the x100v until this year, I'm changing gears. I'm in the area also so maybe one day I'll run into you in Paris!
It can helpful to go on photowalks with other people too. There are plenty of Meet-Up groups that organize photowalks in Paris. Maybe you can join such meet ups. I did that when I first came to Paris, and still join now and then if the routes are interesting. Shooting alone can be very lonely. Hahaha
@@umareta True, but I don't do those social stuff like IG. I shot San Francisco for a decade before moving here, but with the laws and human behaviors here not the same, the moment I arrive in Paris, it's a whole different approach. One big difference I find in Europe is that people have an eye to watch people (people watching), whereas Americans, you do you and that's all, and that leaves room for us street shooters to roam. But in Paris, I was approaching a quiet street corner and entering I was aiming my camera around and I guess a women saw me from the distance at the cafe, and the whole time I was in the area, I can sense that person's eye glued to me, even though she's hiding behind those dark shades 😅
I fully understand. I’ve experienced something similar too, regardless when in groups or by myself. And this is why the GR is an important camera for me. With that size, it’s definitely a lot less intimidating than anything else bigger than that. I do believe people take a look at the camera you’re using. If it looks “professional” for them, they’ll be likely on to you. But honestly, I always play the “tourist” when doing my own photowalk. Just go and snap with the GR, never forget to look happy when pressing the shutter. This is my wildcard method. 😂
Welcome back Dan 👍🏽🙂
Merci Lazhar. It's been a while, let's meet and do a video together soon! :)
Haha! That ending... Wow you are fast! I am editing my video right at this moment. Almost done... Good times, man. To be repeated very soon!
I thought I was gonna have a proper ending, but I didn't! 🤣
Nice Vlog :)
Coming from over from Lintaro. He is a big inspiration
Thanks for coming over. 😊
Yes, he has been a big inspiration indeed! 😁

Nice video 🎉 BTW what's the other brand?
Thank you for watching! 😊
It was either the GR III or the Fuji X100V. Both were still readily available at that time. Haha.
