Thank you! The lotus seems to be everyone's favorite (mine too) so, I've added it to my print shop and now everyone can enjoy it at home :) lilywanderlust.darkroom.com/
@@stevemphoto Thanks Steve, that’s great to hear! You should definitely take the Mamiya out for a spin, sounds like some 120 film is calling your name 😉
Stunning place! I love the relaxed narration and beautiful photo style. I feel the soft light of cloudy day worked well in gently illuminating the interiors.
Oh what a gorgeous video, the music drove me in. And, then the tone of the video. Thanks for sharing, I tried commenting on instagram, but it said that comments are limited 😮
Thanks so much for checking out my video! Love to hear that you enjoyed the music and chill vibes too 🌺 PS. Weird about the comments thing, I dunno how that happened but thanks for flagging it.
These are excellent and Pro 400H was the perfect choice! I wish I had taken my Rolleiflex to Europe when I visited in 2015 but I just didn't have the room.
Ooooh I love Pro 400H! I would shoot it every day if it weren't so precious and difficult to find. Haha I totally understand your sentiment about luggage. Packing is always such a tough choice but now I've found my groove with the Rollei so, she gets the priority space!
Outstanding content. My first camera was a Yashica D in 1972 when I was 12. I still have that camera, along with a collection of Yashicas TLR. You earned my subs. Stay safe.
I have visited the Alhambra a few years ago when I was in Granada. Most of it was under repair. Also, the theme music that is called Capricho Arabe by Tarrega fits well, although he does have a piece specifically written for Alhambra called Recuerdos de la Alhambra, which means the memories of Alhambra. When I was in my 20s, I thaught myself to play classical guitar and these were some of the pieces of my small repertoire, sadly arthritus in my old age has long put an end to my guitar playing. Very nice photography BTW.
Muslim heritage is huge. Not even in andalouse architecture but even in our daily life : algebra, science, mathematics, medicine, astronomy... Guys do research about Islamic Golden Age. Cool video btw
Indeed! I love learning about different cultures, especially through art history that's why seeing the Alhambra was on my list for so long. The Blue Mosque in Turkey was another amazing place to visit, have you been?
Exactly! Film is too expensive to waste but I appreciate that it makes me more mindful of each frame (especially medium format we only get 12 shots). Now, I often try to give myself a limit of 36 images when shooting digital. Have you tried that too?
@ i try but it doesn’t work out like i want it to. So i actually try to pick a shape or color to focus on when go out and shoot. It cuts down on the repetitive nuances on my shots.
This was such a beautiful video to digest.
@@kadirgold thanks!

Thank you! Aw yeah, at first I was actually kinda disappointed for a cloudy day, but in the end, the light was just right.
So beautiful! All the details in the architecture... amazing! That camera is easy on the eyes too!
Oh yeah, a dreamy location with my dream camera, can't top that!
@@lilywanderlust You did a wonderful job on this video. I wish I had places like that here in Florida.

What was this recorded on? Love the grade
Thank you! We recorded this one with a Fuji XT5 and did the color grade in Davinci Resolve :)
Nice camera! I appreciate you explaining the settings you choose. And I admire your calmness.
Happy to hear that my tips were helpful! If you have any questions about the Rolleiflex or film in general just let me know :)

Good tip about minding the taking lens on a TLR. I had no idea 👌🏾 Love the video ❤
So zen! Love it Lily!! If you're ever near Denver, would love to make a video together!
Thanks so much for tuning in! I would love to visit Denver someday and the same goes if you're ever in Amsterdam!

Thanks for tuning in! So cool you still have that 70s Yashica, it must hold a lot of memories.
Excellent advice on story. Subscribed.

Thanks! Yeah, classical guitar music is so nice to listen to and I bet it's fun to play too.
@@lilywanderlust LOL, yes nice to listen to, lovely to play once the fingers have been run in and muscle memory has taken hold. Until then its hell.

7:36 make your shots count. Nowadays we’re afforded to waste sd card space on frivolous pictures/videos.
