Isn’t it amazing how we as photographers have developed the ability to find beauty in places where normally people just walk by without even noticing those details? Great video man! that was sick! 🔥
That’s right, you can find the beauty in everything and that’s the difference between the photographer eyes and normal person.. every photographer focuse into details and seeing everything different and make stories by anything
Most people see it, lol. They just don’t talk about it as pretentiously as “photographers” do. Beauty is better experienced than babbled about. When you lose the camera and live in the moment, you enjoy the beauty of life better.
First time I’ve seen a composition breakdown on location and I love it. RUclips is missing this sort of content on composition thought process and how to train your eye. Learned so much from this video - using environment to block out noisy areas, noticing pockets of light and contrast, and using splashes of color. Can’t wait to apply them to my next walk. Thank you!
Forget the photography, it's the way you chose where to stand is pretty brilliant. First 17 seconds into your first video, I'm already a fan. 3rd pic is amazing, and is what hooked me to this video. But now I'm more amazed by how you're position yourselves in these locations. I hope you have a video or two on that.
This is the best phtography video ive seen uet on youtube. Someone actually breaking down their thought processes behind their works. Bravo and thankyou
Love the explanation of your on-scene thoughts about composition and the elements of the shot. You use of out of focus foreground elements to block areas in the scene was very interesting. Thank you!
Japan is already picture perfect, but this man just made every object and angles a story of its own, a story common passerby wont simply think of, this is the power of composition to compose a shot and make something meaningful for it. [ I also like how he inserts clips that we know would be more appreciated in a live clip format like something you can actually see in a movie ]
I'm just starting out in street photography and this video is a source of inspiration, both technically and artistically. Thank you very much for sharing your talent with us.
Hi Adrien, I’m glad to see that your channel is gaining visibility lately, It’s well deserved! This format is great, it’s really interesting to learn about the way you approach composition. Please keep it coming!
I have been using only 50mm for the last 4 years I was sometime think to get a 35 or 85 but now I have embraced this focal length and have learnt that you cannot include or shoot every thing but whatever you can will be pleasing
That was really fun. Thanks for taking me for that ride. You were very efficient with that area at the end making use of all the spaces. Well done again sir.
I'm starting to upload street photography videos. I'm from Colombia and I hope to grow and continue learning. You did a good job, I congratulate you bro. I hope to have the support of a community like yours. Everyone is very respectful and kind.
It's interesting anyone can take photos of the same place yet in each photo, there's a personal touch from the photographer that took it, how the photographer sees the world and interacts with the environment.
Not the perfect light, not the standard “beauty” we are accustomed to as the subjects. But you’ve shown us the beauty and how you’ve found the beauty. very nice shots. Very nice commentary. Thanks!
Merci beaucoup pour votre video. Je traîne souvent des pieds pour utiliser le 50 en ville. Je suis un adepte du 20 mm. Je viens d'avoir un ... déclic. 😮Bravo pour vos photos. Continuez!
Great video. You explained your fabulous compositions simply and with clarity that I'm not sure I've seen on RUclips before. Brilliant to see your process!
What a great, great video. Wonderful to hear how you breakdown the composition, the location, your thoughts. Even as I listened, in my mind I had my thoughts on each location.... Great work. A great learning education. Keep up this amazing work.
Really enjoying this series where you combine lens choices, your judgement of available light, and colour, to inform your composition thought process. 🔥
I was really moved by your shots, the music, your explanation, and your eye for detail / light. You make me excited to look for the beauty in the otherwise ordinary with my camera. Thank you!
I love how photographer’s brain works they beauty in every detail! also for some reason the lighting in japan during winter or spring is phenomenal. It makes the photos more beautiful.
Loving these videos. Missing a bit of the wandering and discovering bits from the first few vs “bam here’s a shot and here’s how I composed it”. Both have their merits.
I've re-watched the video a bit more calmly and I echo the other person's comment about placement and where you choose to stand. I rarely see vertical shots in other youtube channels so it was interesting to see a few here. One takeaway from this video is that I should be more present when taking photos instead of rushing from location to location haha. Thanks a lot!
I have been looking for an inspiring photographer that doesn't only want to sell me a camera and praise it the whole video, the actual art and thought process is so overlooked now.
I would love to see the original photo vs the edited one so I can get a better understanding of what you’re explaining. Fantastic video and wonderful photos.
I like the way you think. And I love shooting 50mm. So thank you for putting a focus on another focal length than 35mm or 28mm for streetphotography :)
Fun to see so many people riding a bike there! Iam from the netherlands and here it is very common but didn’t know there were other places too with alot of bikes
Isn’t it amazing how we as photographers have developed the ability to find beauty in places where normally people just walk by without even noticing those details? Great video man! that was sick! 🔥
What exactly normal people see? Morning to go work, evening to back home... then same routine apply everyday. 😂
Remind people, life is beautiful.

Loved this breakdown, thanks for summarizing
Couldn't agree more! This is the kind of content I'm looking for to help me learn!

Love these types of videos. Way more interesting since you’re standing on location.
Glad you like them!
Love the explanation of your on-scene thoughts about composition and the elements of the shot. You use of out of focus foreground elements to block areas in the scene was very interesting. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it:)
In Japanese, photography is expressed as '撮影,' which means to capture(撮) shadows(影). Your work expresses light and shadow very well and is wonderful.

wwoow this opening sequence. perfection.
Thanks!
I could feel your pause at 1:20 for missing the shot of the red scooter entering the scene. My condolences. Beautiful video.
I'm just starting out in street photography and this video is a source of inspiration, both technically and artistically. Thank you very much for sharing your talent with us.
it's so surreal seeing and recognising parts of a street i visited last year with my class
love how little details you discover
A million times yes. THIS is street photography. Not some TikTok "street" nonsense. Your colours are amazing too, lovely editing!

My first video from your channelo I watched. I love the way you take us to the process before taking a picture.
Amazing content, thanks for educating me with your ideas as you take the beautiful photos
Really enjoyed your ‘thinking out loud’. A lesson in visualizing and composition - the most important elements of our photographic craft. Well done.
I think your videos might just be my favorite photography videos. They always make me want to go out and enjoy a nice walk with my camera.
For street i use 35 and 50 on film cam. 50 best for object based like you. 35 good for food pov photo and street wide shoot. And
Bro, you have some exceptional work by the way! There’s just so much beauty and looking at the bigger picture. I love it.

These compositions are absolutely beautiful. Your framing is *chefs kiss*

why is japan so photogenic
male photography, very technicaly, good photography doesn't need explanations, it's like eating, you just know when it's good
photos not important they just result, it is creative process make us happy
