My wife and I spent 3 days in Budapest several years ago at the end of a river cruise originating in Nuremberg. It was during the Christmas Market season and the one in Budapest was great with incredible food, beverages, and smells. Now seeing you guys in Budapest has generated an urge to go back, but in warmer weather. Loved the video!
I stand corrected. I looked it up on RUclips, and the Hungarians do pronounce it differently than we do. So the Germans pronounce it almost the same as it is in English.
My favorite part was around 5:00. The night views were very nice. Great choice of music! Keep exploring new places and don’t let a closed door keep you from an open window. 😉
That Hungarian food brings back soooo many memories of my Grandmother's cooking. My Great Grandparents came from Budapest Hungary. Miss her Paprika chicken and goulash. She'd make her own noodles from scratch. Makes me wish I had asked her to show me her processes of cooking. ❤❤❤Also while you are there in Europe check out the bobsled type roller-coasters. I have seen them on RUclips videos of an individual sled that goes down the mountain on railway. Kind of like a non motorized go carts. Push forward on the stick to go faster and pull back to slow down. Looks so much fun.
Seeing you two interact so lovingly, especially in this video, is such a nice thing and difference to many of the other travel channels. You two are awesome together!
I love how you capture the scenery and different architecture!! It looks awesome!! Its so cool that you are learning German and Spanish!! I definitely need to look into learning Spanish QUICK!! 😬 😆 As always AWESOME video!! Can’t wait to see what is next 😃
Hi ! 10:59 The fortress on the right is actually a monastery. It belongs to Paul's order. This is a monastic order founded in Hungary. They operate the Rock Chapel. Most churches in Hungary are working churches. The religious function is the primary one, everything else follows after that. 13:00 Not a hummingbird, there is no such thing in Europe. This is a butterfly, in Hungarian the kacsafarkú szender (duck-tailed sender ) (Macroglossum stellatarum). Unfortunately, I don't know the English name.
Omgosh watching this series of you 2 has been such a pleasure. I remember watching your first video of your maiden voyage and can't believe it's been 2 years!!! Holy cow! These videos have been awesome thank you for letting us tag along ❤

We have been following you guys for about a year. We love your style of traveling. We are in Innsbruck now having spent the last 10 days in Germany. You will love Innsbruck.
I did a night time bicycle tour of Washington DC probably 20+ years ago and it was the best. Way less people and it was cool seeing things with the lights. Highly suggest doing something like that at some point. The river boat was awesome though. Thanks for taking us a long.
Aw I’m sorry your plans didn’t work out the way you’d hoped. I am glad that you made it there though and got to try some of their wonderful dishes. I’m hoping to go for at least a month sometime. I always look so forward to your videos!
How was the food in words?! 😁 🤝 🇨🇭 (1/2 🇭🇺 PS: Eat Pörkölt instead of Goulash. (my fav Hungarian dish) It simply tastes better. (not a soup like Goulash almost is)
I'm not sure but I think the Danube river is pronounced da- nyoob- river - so say dan you B - it took me a minute to work out what you were talking about - great episode though loved all the history 😊😊💕💕
Hi I love your video’s are always fun to watch. Pleas carry on making them. One little question I’d like to ask where is Natalia engagement ring or have u already got married. Sue from England xxx ❤
German is Donau, Hungarian is Duna and Slovak is Dunaj, Bulgaria Dunav and so on. So no, it is not called by the name Danube anywhere in any European country where it flows.
Plans happen before you get there, real life occurs while there and memories live well into old age. Worrying about the weather is futile, only the government can change it. Élvezze a hátizsákos utazást.
I don't understand what politics got to do with this show as far as I know this is a travel channel about traveling discovering new places so how politics get here?
The second week hearing you not pronounce Danube correctly. I hate correcting, but, forgive me? Pronouncing everything correctly, like rosetta stone, do they really pronounce Danube river danyoobie? DANYUBE like RUclips. Not danyoobie. enunciation on the DA, DA- nyoob. I love pronunciation guides on RUclips.
Great video! So glad you shared the night cruise with us, such beautiful sights! Awesome you share your food orders to show your each to try more different foods. ❤️🐢

Yes, I just about died laughing at this mispronunciation! One of the greatest rivers in the world and so much history on the Danube.
Lovely video but this has been driving me nuts throughout 😂
In the Magyar (Hungarian) language, the river is called the Duna (Doonah).
What a beautiful city. Can’t wait to see next weeks video.

We have been following you guys for about a year. We love your style of traveling. We are in Innsbruck now having spent the last 10 days in Germany. You will love Innsbruck.

Buda "pesht", please. Also historically has 3 parts. The old city, hilly Buda, and flat part Pest.
Very enjoyable video! Thank you!
Nice. Will have to visit there again sometime, last time I was there it was still behind the Iron Curtain.
Not sure if it it the local language but I believe the river is pronounced Dan U Ba.
Don't know how we determine the correct pronounciation; but, I think it is Dan-youb
Thanks for the amazing views.
Love the video s 😊
Aw I’m sorry your plans didn’t work out the way you’d hoped. I am glad that you made it there though and got to try some of their wonderful dishes. I’m hoping to go for at least a month sometime. I always look so forward to your videos!
Banff grizzly bear attack: Uncle reveals chilling final message he received from Canadian couple before deaths.
As i can see you guys planned that trip very well! Greetings from Hungary :)
I actually never heard the pronunciation of the Danube river as Da-Nu-Bee. I think it's pronounced Da-nyoob in English and German.
I agree Dan yoob, hearing danubeee is making me crazy....sorry for being petty.
In German it's called Donau ( pronounced like Doh - now)
What a cool city. I am bummed you couldn’t see the cave church. I really wanted to as well 😁
How was the food in words?!
😁
🤝
🇨🇭 (1/2 🇭🇺
PS: Eat Pörkölt instead of Goulash. (my fav Hungarian dish) It simply tastes better. (not a soup like Goulash almost is)
Great video. Are we pronouncing the river incorrectly? We were taught Dan-yooob. Do locals pronounce it like you did?
Looks like the Paprikash was served over spätzle.
Beautiful city! Danube is pronounced da - nyoob'.
Great video looks like a great place to visit
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Awesome stuff guys
Dan Yuub, like you tube. Not dan u bee lol.
Great video
Great video!
Goo losh? Looked like soup? What we call golish is macaroni with tomato sauce and sauce meat. Fun trip.
I've always heard of Budapest but didn't know there was a Buda and a pest.
I'm not sure but I think the Danube river is pronounced da- nyoob- river - so say dan you B - it took me a minute to work out what you were talking about - great episode though loved all the history 😊😊💕💕

Awesome videos sorry I’m soo late
No worries! Thanks so much for watching! 💚😊
Amazing epik video
In Budapest, Hungary and you didn't try Tokay (dessert wine).
The River Danube is pronounced “da nyoob”
Check your facts! They are pronouncing it correctly! We have anglicized it.
I stand corrected. The Hungarians do pronounce as Natalie and Jimmy did. The Germans pronounce it almost as it is in English. Had to dig on RUclips
Hi I love your video’s are always fun to watch. Pleas carry on making them. One little question I’d like to ask where is Natalia engagement ring or have u already got married. Sue from England xxx ❤
Love your videos. You don't pronounce the "e" on Danube. It's pronounced Dan-newb
I just wanted to say , you pronounce it Dan -ube. E is silent 😊
Nice❤
Did you do a dog commercial?
Comment
Natalie one of the best way to learn Spanish is come to Miami, FL USA.
😍😍💖💖👍👍
NEWBIE at pronouncing Danube!😂
👍👍🥰🥰🤩🤩
🤗💕🤗👍👍👍👍👍
dan-YOOB, it's pronounced dan-YOOB 🤣
dan- ube
:) ❤
Jimmy & Natalie are pronouncing the Danube River correctly! You are all referring to the anglicized version - not the local & correct version.
Thanks, guys. One small question: Are you ever aware of the politics of the countries you travel through?
I don't understand what politics got to do with this show as far as I know this is a travel channel about traveling discovering new places so how politics get here?
Awareness, knowledge?@@saca1
Danube, your pronunciation is terribly wrong Dan -ube.
We never saw you guys drink before going over seas, now that is all you do, be careful become alcoholics
Great video! So glad you shared the night cruise with us, such beautiful sights! Awesome you share your food orders to show your each to try more different foods. ❤️🐢
I think you're mispronouncing the Danube River.....should sound like "dan-yoob". I loved Budapest when I was there.
Innsbruck Austria 🇦🇹 ♥️
I got to visit there loved Austria 🇦🇹!!!!😁🤗have a great time there!
This was an interesting vid
I love your travels but I believe you pronounced the Danube River incorrectly. It’s not Dan U Be. It’s Dan Yoob.
Not making eye contact while saying “Prost” would mean seven years of bad s*x. Natalie successfully avoided that 😂
Loving the sites, still catching up. 😊
Pap-ri-kash. What movie is that from? Hair looks wonderful, Nat.
That boat trip at that time of day looks fabulous. Budapest doesn't look like what I imagined. It's beautiful. Are you livin' on 100$s a day still?
That goulash didn't have any elbow macaroni, who ever heard of that
