We have a good 13speed Eaton here at the shop with only 22k miles on it, could make you a great deal on it.
I’m interested if Greg isn’t. What’s the price?
You should email or message him on IG. I think it would have a higher chance of being seen
It's already got a sleeper from you guys. Why not?
Paint the air cleaners and the tanks keep the Polished boxes, stacks, wheels and air tanks
Underrated comment of the year
Yessss 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Yes
Greg out there with an umbrella just so we can see this thing move. Champ.
It's not +greg_alberalla it's greg_umberalla
@@Mikesworld777yuuuuuuuppp
I used a couple pieces of heater hose and a 90 on the outlet of my air dryer to redirect the air. That way I wasn't so angry when it popped off in a dirt parking lot right after I wash the truck.
Put a 13 spd in it and you will be happy with it but if you want an interior for it go to a place called day cab company they make interiors or a place in Texas called truck n awesome they are one Facebook and I hope you don’t black it out but it’s your rig do what you please with it love the videos on it man keep it up
I see you must not of seen my comment about moving that low fuel line you DO NOT WANT IT LOW on the side of the tank look at all the other trucks that have been built in the last 30 years its a safety issue thats why the federal government outlawed the bottom crossover or equalizer fuel line in the early 90s
Why is that? Might get snagged?
@@ADVANCEDTECHTIPS stuff on the road will fly up and rip them off and drain you tanks and guess what you get slapped with a hazmat fine when they come to clean it up
He’s not wrong. About this. It’s been driving me crazy.
Full rear fenders? Yes please they look so sick!!!
You should look into The Daycab Company for an interior. They’ve done good work for many peterbilt trucks.
Love the truck but I think it would look better with a bigger sleeper! That one just seems so tiny... it also needs some big wrap around rear fenders painted black of course!
It had a bigger sleeper..he took it off and put that one on.
I wanna see more on the 70 crew cab lol
Time to bag the steer axle....😁
now buy a 53 foot race trailer for the pete
True
Leave the chrome! Polish those tanks and the grill! Looks killer
Silent Mike sure is hanging out a lot! Hope you’re paying him.......
He for sure is Greg seems like he’s not like that
13 speed is more than enough for what you need to use it for greg
I miss the old sleeper 😢
Are you going to cut out rectangles of grip tape for your steps so they don’t get all scratched or longer mudflaps on the hood so your steps don’t get all sandblasted
Needs full rear fenders!!!
18 speed. You'll be much happier.
If he’s not gonna haul much there isn’t much point to get a 18 speed other to say he’s got one
@@logankorten3867 well he's going to be running all over with his enclosed trailer in his trucks and that's the preferred transmission. I have one and I'm extremely happy with it. But then again I started 40 years ago with a twin stick.
I would love to see him do that. I am betting he won't. It's a cab off job. He will buy one that is already a manual.
Maybe I missed it or maybe he didn't say it but the silent Mike work for Greg now
Brilliant ! Beat brakes loose without wheel chock while button depressed . 😳🙄😂🤣 Stay safe boys !👍🇺🇸❤️
Should contact the guys that did the interior in Bruce Wilson’s truck. Seem like they did a great job and pretty quick
Just a suggestion, try to find some cab door off a newer Peterbilt so they will match the left side sleeper door. The should work. rest of the truck is looking very good.
Glad its moving again in my opinion I would get a 13 speed the tandem I drive has a old road master 13 in it and I love that transmission
Gladd to here you are going manual trans. Gahms in Lucasville ohio has 18 & 13 speeds used trans for sale with 30 or 60 day warranty
Daycab company for new interior panels
Can't wait to hear it with the stacks!
Throwback interior! Bucket seats!!
Greg wants a "Man's mission" need I say more.
BLACK N CHROME ALL DAY!
. . . . . . . . I like short shorts
Did you remove the wet tank in your air system? There should be a third tank that's larger and lower where you drain your moisture.
It's Alive!!! I'm so pumped I love this truck. Can't wait to see the stacks on it. It will look mean and awesome.
18 speed only. Do not waste your time with a 13!
He will skip half of them anyways and won't haul the weight required. 13 is plenty
Honestly for what he is dojng with it a 10 is fine. 18 is overkill for just about anyone who isn't heavy hauling.
13 is ideal for most situation
If he just wants gears to shift for no reason a 6 and 4 would be bad ass. I’d like to see Greg try to figure that out. Lol. Pretty much the greatest anti-theft device ever.
@@masonsydow9546 twin sticks are fun to drive but greg couldnt figure that out a 10 or 13 is plenty for him
Does Silent Mike still work at Kingspeed? Or is he full time Greg A incorporated now?
Ive been wondering this for the last few videos
Yeah I’ve been wondering as well
Talk to the day cab company about an interior for the cab and bunk
Greg being a man of the people’s
I love all that black in the drive way, the absence of color is the only way to go 🤘🖤
You don’t need a new transmission. You just need a shift tower.
Outside working in 30 degree an getting rain/snow mix an he in t-shirt an complaining😂🤣
Whats up with that second gen sport grill
So cool to see the progress
If the Pete doesn’t get a set off full wrap around fenders I will be disappointed
I’m sure you have checked the guys out PDI or Pittsburgh Power for your upgrade performance products and also have you looked into all TRUX led’s? I’m sure you have, if not they would great to get ahold of. I’m not affiliated with either one as a company accordance at all. 4 states carries a lot of cool products as well. Honestly I’m not a big fan of Pete’s or Kenworth’s, I am stoked you are doing a semi though, and it is looking good brother. I love to see the piece by piece transformation that anyone does and the attention to detail that makes the vehicle cool to me. Heart, soul, blood, sweat, beers and tears is what makes a truck. Keep truckin
I’m not dissing or putting it down in anyway, I think it’s awesome your doing a truck, it is awesome
Nice to see Pete move 👍 from seating in one place.
Never seen one this fast....comment and like within the first 30 seconds! Now to enjoy
You need to move out West. It hasn't rained here since April. That's normal, too.
I second..third..forth..the Daycab company👍👍
Are you gonna convert the auto shift to a manual?
before attacking the brakes, look into a good wheel dolly jack, will make the brake job much easier, less to take off as far as wheels and such.
Paint the tanks black leave the chrome straps and do a nice chrome/black on the cleaners
Awesome awesome video Greg A, finally after Un seizing some rear brakes it moves under its own power lol. Can’t wait to see the stacks get installed they’ll look awesome on it, and sound way better than they look.
Just an idea. What about Hoge Fenders for the drives. An a grease less fifth wheel plate.
It def needs a black grille!
Black diamond stitching leather and a starry night headliner 💥
Man, that got me excited. Im ready to see Al drive it down the road. Stay well and stay safe
I got a 10speed manual laying around that only has 6500 miles on it if your interested
The Pete looks good! Have you considered doing black chrome on the stacks, grill, wheels, etc. while keeping the cab painted black? I think the black chrome would look sick on that rig!
Hey Greg to paint ur dash theirs a spray paint called sem exactly for interior parts and seats and u can get any color u want
What a fleet! Looking good.
A yellow and black leather and interior would be awesome
Gregg you should get some Rain jackets put on the Wrench Workz site! Lol
Awesome truck black n chrome 👌🏻🤙🏻
Damn son! She does look good once the stacks go on it’ll really complete it can’t wait!
Definitely needs some Peterbilt stylized wheels
Should polish the wheels. Paint the barrels of the tanks and air tanks black, polish the ends of the tanks and air tanks, leave the straps polished, leave stacks polished. Put some kinda black step pad on the boxes, leave rest polised. Paint grill surround black. Add couple more grill bars. Leave breathers polished. Chop the tops of them and then make the breathers strapless. And 18 speed for trans. And set of full Painted fenders over the drives. Also a air ride front end.
I think it looks perfect with the polished on the chrome painting those rims black would look so cheap looking. worry about the (transmission)
Can someone fill me in on why the little sleeper over a regular sized one? Does it have to do with drivers license dot rules or something? Why would you want a smaller sleeper?
Bro, you have to get a 5" carhauler front axle on the pete.
Is silent mike not working at King Speed anymore? He’s in every video now
Greg is probably charging him parking for his truck and trailer haha
Doesn’t silent Mike own king speed
Greg...Answer us please..NOW
Mike is no longer at King Speed
@@keatonsamples9330 not doubting you by any means, but are you sure about that? If so, how do you know? I ask because I’ve had a truck build going on at Kingspeed for literally 22 months now, and if Mike is gone, that’s concerning to me. Thanks or any info
Black alcantera on the roof with the starry headliner also. It would be sooooo sick. Break the internet
So...are you getting an Eaton - Fuller 18 speed, for her? She definitely needs it.
Do bostrom mid back wide ride with serta seats and bostrom serta mattress
So my next question is would silent mike be your friend still if his truck wasn't black? 🤣
His truck isn’t black 🤨
Im starting to think greg has a raining edit😂😂😂😂😂😂
Greg I’ve got 2 y-pipes in my shed if you want one of them I know we are all waiting for the stacks to go on I live down in ga
You totally need to do a deck and ramps on the Pete for the smart car!
Wohoooo YESSS
Are u going to make it a manual transmission again that would be nice to see don’t like the automatic
Link below For you 18 speed Trans he can help you out real cheap also very nice guy to talk to and work with...
Now you need to get Ali a Trackhawk or Grand Cherokee SRT
U need to put a lift and a push bar on that smart car
For the floor do white oak hardwood flooring.
Needs the round headlights
You should do a video showing all the trucks including the race trucks and the progress on them
You need to get a cat and a t bar on the back and full finders.
the Pete looks awesome Greg!
Also polished would be a lot better
NEED TO CHECK WITH BAD ASS CUSTOMS AND SEE ABOUT A FIBER GLASS FLOORNFO THE CAB AND BUNK .
Are you going to take out the automatic transmission and replace it with a manual transmission in that truck because that truck would look better with a manual transmission not a automatic transmission.
My condolences with that Wabco air dryer lolllll,Up here in the north we yank them off and install AD9 dryers instead, that fails in what you installed and a pain in the ass in the winter months is through the year between moisture and corrosion, the valves in the aluminum block stick,it either pukes air or won't build, buddy of mind ordered a 2021 truck with a AD9, also cheaper to replace and less frequent
Update on the big red dodge?
19:00 I think new sets are a must
How long before the manual transmission goes in?
Are you going to be getting a trailer for the 379 Peterbilt to turn into a motor home for when you are at the shows? Now that would be a great project for you.
Can't wait till you get that bumper on it
Your fuel filter is to full. It should only have about two inches in it when it is new. As it gets contaminated the fuel level will rise to where it is now and then you change it. Just thought you would like to know.
Greg you need to get some wrenchworkz mud flaps printed up for the peterbilt
good luck on the brakes you may need a slede hammer to get the brake drums off and cage the brake chambers to be safe
Build a tall car port for it along side garage
Will you put a wood floor in the Pete? Maybe.
