When you are doing your song covers do you have to get permission from the musician who wrote the song or do you have to put a disclaimer in the description saying it’s not your music. And if so how do you put a disclaimer in the description.
I utilize RUclips’s Public Domain Library for my 1 Minute Review series! When I do music videos, the YT system detects the song and puts it into the description for me.
The YT Copyright System can be unpredictable. At most, it won’t be illegible for monetization. But us small creators don’t have to worry about that for now. Just make sure you have fun!
