Although I might be a little late to the party, in this video I explore why our culture is so obsessed with Keanu Reeves right now. And why that is a good thing. Keanu Reeves is currently the most talked about actor in Hollywood. The success of his John Wick movies are partly responsible. But there is more about Keanu Reeves. The love he receives is because of his personality and public responses. In this essay I argue that Keanu Reeves offers a peaceful and harmonizing influence on our ever increasingly divided culture.

Did some people just realize Keanu exists? Haven't we been obsessed with him for decades? Because I've seen a lot of comments lately along the lines of: "Just became obsessed with this guy recently. He's actually a cool dude". I mean... I'm 23 and I've been obsessed with him for 24 years, so age isn't an excuse lol.

Look the thing is that Keanu does deserve all this attention, but at the same I'm sure that he doesn't want all this attention because of the lack of privacy. So the conclusion is: liking Keanu Reeves is breathtaking, but not respecting his privacy is not breathtaking
If you meet him on the street or in a bus, put your hand over your heart, nod your head respectfully, then leave him be.

Exactly!!! I admire him sooo much & am definitely one of his biggest fans! But if I saw him in public, I wouldn't want to bother him. I think I'd smile & wave & let him go about his business. ♥️ Doing that alone would be a dream come true!!!
I think the dichotomy of Reeves and Wick is also a really good representation of the two sides of masculinity as well. While wick is honorable and violent in response to provocation and loss, Reeves is caring and thoughtful, always concerned about the well being of those around him.

Having a background that would have left lesser man broken, he instead strive for living the life of an ordinary person, just like any other person. Keanu not seeking leadership is irrelevant, nobility is not chosen, it is earned, and he will have to lead, whether he wants to or not, because people are already following him. Nobility demands people the responsability to understand their power, their influence, and wield it to lead their people forward.

I studied around the concept of masculinity lately and i found him to be a breathtaking example of a healthy one. He has a bunch the traits of a typical man (like he loves bikes etc) but at the same time he is gentle, tender, and really peaceful. He is like the near pacifist version of Aragorn
I remember watching Cyberpunk 2077 live. I'm not a fan of the Witcher series as I dislike Hype trains.
However, the presentation was so pleasant, I had to rewatch Keanu several times. It was a nice moment for the internet.
Disliking something just because of a hype train or because its too mainstream is a bit silly dont you think. The witcher 3 has become pretty cheap over the years and is definitely worth the price. You should give it a shot.

Agreed with the two comments above me. Although as a long time Witcher fan the hype for 3 felt a bit annoying, avoiding the series because of that just means you're missing out. I mean imagine the number of works of art which are super famous but also super good that you'd not have in your life because of that!
