@@TheSwordofra Majority of the stars that appear on this podcast have been B-List celebrities that are well known but are not over the top megastars. Stephen Amell, Welling, Gustin etc. But Keanu is no B-Lister, a lot of fans consider him to be in the "GOAT" catagory of the industry. He's probably the biggest star that Michael has even had on the show. To have someone with his legendary status come on would be a tremendous honor and success.

@@nicolebohrnstedt8008I think Rosey has a real talent for making people feel comfortable. Lots of his previous guests have said they also don’t like interviews, but with him they actually enjoyed them.

When I saw the thumbnail I really thought this was going to be a 'Keanu and his friends that we won't mention too much' type of interview you usually on late night shows. But Michael, you nailed it. You really interviewed the band as a whole, so that was fantastic.

I don't think he'll do individual interviews like that. As you see here he is not the classic Hollywood narcissist. Rosenbaum is amazing at talking with people as people. Not just as stars. Theres no 15 minutes ad breaks and they can just talk. That is probably how Dogstar was booked. 😊
It’s probably not exactly what you meant but personally I don’t see how going on hot ones makes you a narcissist. It’s a good show to be on.

This podcast feels like a few buddies just chilling and hanging out. Great vibe as always my dood. Great podcast as well.
I have a Dogstar story. They played my small North Dakota hometown back in the late 90’s. I think it’s safe to say the crowd came to see Keanu, but they took the stage and there was two guys that clearly were not Keanu and another guy with a cleanly shaved head and no eyebrows. Okay I guess that’s what he’s doing…A year or whatever later when the Matrix came out it all made sense.
Side note. We had really bad winter weather that day and flights were cancelled. Keanu chartered a private jet so that Dogstar would make the show.
Side side note. There were two Asian girls next to me on the front row rail with like a scrap book full of Keanu stuff. Never seen anything like that before or since.

My best friend just lost his mom, so the holidays going forward definitely won't be easy.
On a lighter note, this episode was fun! Love behind-the-scenes of band dynamics.
I used to listen to "Goodbye" EVERY almost every single morning before school during 6th grade
I worked on an independent movie called Thumbsucker with Keanu Reeves and he was as kind as can be to me. He even said, "Catch ya later Geoff." Good times, great band and interview. 🍺😺
Watching this after playing some Cyberpunk for an absurdly long time brings all the whiplash. I hear Keanu's voice and keep waiting for him to cuss out Arasaka and corporations. Nice to imagine Silverhand as just a relaxed guy for once lol
Right lol im pretty sure 60% of the reason he joined that game was the fact he got to be in a band in the game too. I could be wrong but i think i remember an interview where someone asked him 1 Cyberpunk question. And it was like his favorite part of the script. And he just said "I got to be in a band. Just like in real life. Dogstar check us out sometime." First time i knew he was even in a band. Not really my cup of tea but i can love the passion for music.

Keanu is such a big star now that it's hard to see him as a regular real person. This guy is a fame machine and he just keeps going. That's admirable. Whatever happens in your life you have to keep going. That's what he does, and all I hear is good stories about him.

I didn’t know Dogstar as a band. So I found out in RUclips. I like this kind of music! The guitars and the drums are so good, that I want to hear more. I didn’t like Rock before I got older. Rolling Stones, ACDC and similar bands I like to hear nowadays. Also the songs at the playlists of Supernatural!

This was a really great episode. I wasn't aware Keanu had a band, but I'm always interested in learning about new artists so I'll have to check them out a little more. It seems like they're really serious about their music, I know sometimes actors do bands as a hobby because they have the money and influence, but these guys seem like serious artists.
Respect to them and I really appreciate just how far Michael went to make sure they were comfortable and had a good time. It did not go unnoticed by regular watchers of the podcast, just how different this episode was in terms of content, questions, format, etc. But truly, great job and happy holidays! 🎄🎁

I lived off Arch dr. in Studio City around the time Keanu was shooting Man of Tai Chi (pre-John Wick) saw him while walking home from Fox N’ Hounds across the street meditating at a DWP building and he bummed me a cigarette and I left him be. Thanks Keanu! 😂

I've been soured on contemporary music for so long. The diamonds shine so much weaker than they did in the past, and those gems are so accessible via streaming that it's easy to throw up your hands and clap the dust off of modern music. However, this album is really good. All three songs they mentioned have such strong melodies and harmonic accompaniment. It makes sense they come from a time when elements like this were valued in music. Great album guys, it's really fun to listen to.

Amazing I'm so happy for Keanu and the guys many memories from the way back. I have always loved Keanu since I was 14 years old now I'm turning 59 soon. Ok grew up many miles away but I have a Hope Chest full of memories of everything Keanu for 44 years. He is so talented and kind just completely real genuinely. My first crush and truthfully no one holds a candle to Keanu in my eyes. I have kept him in my heart and prayers a lifetime through his sad and amazing times both. I pray to meet him someday I want give up. I love seeing him play base again he still rock's and he looks so happy. I love motorcycles too and back in the day like in teen magazine's then even some social media I still comment on waiting to go on a motorcycle ride and talk then listen to Keanu play guitar and sing because I love his voice. That would be the perfect date very sweet and simple. I appreciate all of Keanu's hard work and dedication to the world his fans and friends. His heart and soul is so humble and kind. I love his beautiful eyes there like windows to his beautiful soul. I thank God for such a blessing spending extra time creating Keanu.

Your songs have that kind of feature to them…they flow & ebb & are memorable.
I don’t have the album, but I have almost 2 songs memorized & sung them at the Crest with you.
You need a slow-dance song at the end.
Jukebox is a great song, but pretty hardcore for a last performance song.
You need one Bret wants to dance with his girlfriend at the end.

Keanu Reeves yes!!!. He is the most down to earth, nicest human being easily. I wish I got a chance to meet him. John Wick series has been my favorite. The fact that you go him as your guest says the mount Rushmore of celebrities.
