2013 Mazda Miata transmission diagnostic. Code P0977.

Code P0977 set for shift solenoid B circuit malfunction, short to power, or open circuit. Need to perform and extended diagnostic to check grounds and voltages to the TCM (Transmission Control Module) and ohm out the circuits between the transmission and the TCM and the shift solenoid. See how diagnosing and electrical system the wrong way can lead to much bigger problems in the future with inappropriate wire, connector, and pinout testing.
