What an absolute plethora. It makes me smile, when aldi are on the ball, and deliver everything they advertise. We've tried the no beef pies , very very good. Also the chickn strips and chips in a tray are very good aswell. The corn dogs are exact he same as the battered sausages, I enjoyed them, but no difference 💚💚💚

10:00 the ‘ shredded duck’ comes as two fat patties, as though you’d eat it as a burger…? So I just fork it up a bit to shred for duck pancakes. It’s quite nice, a little mushy, costs less but not quite as good as Linda Macs but haven’t seen that in months 🤷🏻♀️
Totally agree. I can only find Linda MCs not duck regularly at Sainsburys - it is my absolute favourite meat substitute ❤
They did those melt in the middle fishcakes last veganuary and they were incredible, I'm so glad they're back

Aldi used to have big pot varieties of spinach+lentil curry, thai curry but I haven't seen them for the last six months. They were nice and really handy for a quick dinner.

I’m doing veganuary and I will struggle with milk, I’ve tried all the substitutions and oat was the best for my brews. I’m off to Aldi now to get all my essentials

Will definitely need to check our ALDI. It’s quite a distance, but worth a try. I was quite surprised at Trader Joe’s the other day. So who knows? Thanks for sharing. I almost forgot, I’m listening to a book and for some reason the cc turned on. The reader was talking about seasons and the wording came up “penis”. 6 years vegan here and I did not know Aldi’s dark choc biscuits were accidental vegan😊 Jason & Paul thank you for your vlogs they are so helpful x
They're good too, but Tesco ones are better if more elusive.
Checked today and The ones in my local Aldi near Nottingham have milk in them - so strange - i still have the Tesco ones to fall back
on though and OMV cookies at Asda 😊

@@anitatileyAldi have two different suppliers of the dark choc digestives… it’s hit and miss which type each store will stock. The packaging colours are slightly different; I’m pretty sure the darker brown pack is usually sfv, although it’s been a while since I’ve checked as my local store haven’t stocked them for well over a year 😢

As a regular at Aldis I didnt realise that the chocolate digestives or the own brand chocolate sheddies were vegan so thanks for pointing this out.

The K-dogs are nice, but the texture really changes when they go cold, from being quite succulent to being almost crumby. Not necessarily in a bad way, it's just surprising!

Honey can sometimes catch us out, as it's not highlighted as an allergen.

I was ALMOST caught out a few days ago, with cereal bars! Looked fine but at the last minute I remembered to check for honey. Disappointing. Not needed, and it's not ours to use. @@ThoseVeganGuys

When you were looking at the cheeses, next to it was garlic baguettes, they're vegan and taste great.(not clearly marked but is deffo vegan)

Those dark chocolate biscuits always have milk in at my Aldi! But I see people show pictures of their packets which has no milk in the ingredients

I went yesterday and they have milk in at my local Aldi :/ maybe they’ve recently changed the recipe and not all shops have the vegan ones yet?
Two different suppliers, two slightly different pack colours. Sadly it’s hit and miss which type stores stock.
Why do aldi put all their plant stuff together in the freezer yet in the fridge they are all over the place ? Who knows.
Just had the onion marinated tofu air fried with avocado ( keeping carbs low ) very good
