For those who don't know, if you get to Lidl early doors (opening time is best) they have boxes of fruit and veg (coming to the end of their best before date) for £1.50 - usually they are FANTASTIC,
But it's different on different days.
Get there early people!

Lidl has improved its vegan range and has great labelling of vegan products.

In regards to the stock items in the freezer section, they have a "diet" range called "What's Cooking :: "lighter for you" and I can confirm both the vegetable chili and vegetable biriyani seem to be vegan by ingredients (both say vegetarian) and are both really good - especially the chili.
The chili comes with cauliflower rice, which alone is a little bland, but mixed in with the chili? Scrumptious!
I don't like the biriyani as much, not to say it's bad as it's not, I'd happily eat it again, but it all depends how you are with large strips of aubergine.
Some love it - some hate it. I have mixed feelings.
Still, 2 more options for y'all and well worth checking out.
The jars of chickpeas are great too.

I like the unsweetened vemondo soya I think it's only 50p, it doesn't curdle in coffee
It's good - also good is the Almond milk they have, I REALLY like that!
These shopping vlogs are a massive help to newbie vegans, but they also give us established vegans a kick in the pants as well. Cheers you guys!😄

When I was a mere child and my mom said they only feed you bread and water in prison, i thought I could live on bread alone. To this day, the price of bread, matters not.
Interesting, in 🇮🇪 we don’t have half this stuff but we do actually have a Lidl own brand mayo although it’s more like a salad cream in taste than a mayo

I have never seen legumes in a jar, wonderful idea. Some of our standard sliced breads are not marked vegan, some more expensive and smaller loaves are.

I never go anywhere else for my breakfast cereals these days. A brilliant range. And their porridge oats are way cheaper than branded.
Can be hard to find decent cheap antiperspirants but Lidl Cien Men has a range of at least three roll-ons - deodorant, antipers extra-dry and antipers invisible. They look very similar so check the label. (Clearly marked Vegan, dontcha know?)
I seem to have started saying "BYE LOVES!" when I get a kill in online video-games. :)

Honestly, never tried to do a full weekly shop at either Lidl or Aldi, even before I was vegan. So this could be interesting.
Also, I really like exploring the "weeks" at Lidl too. Ideas and inspiration for food I wouldn't normally cook.

I'm lucky enough to live 5 mins away from an Aldi, and my missus 5 mins away from Lidl, so I get the best of both worlds.
I can EASILY do my weekly/monthly shop at Aldi - I'm lucky they have plenty of vegan stuff, and if I were having to do so could also manage it at Lidl.
Both shops are BRILLIANT for vegan imho. Aldi more-so though,
@@VampireJack10 That's good to know. We're getting a Lidl near us, just as soon as it's built. At the moment, it is a bit of a mission to go so I only go for the interesting weeks, but looking forward to being able to try it out more. 💚

The wheat and rye bloomer is lovely, expensive but worth it, love lidl, get my milled linseed mix in there and I always raid the Alesto nut or fruit packs at the checkout when I'm there :). Great video as always X

I wish I could live in the UK so I can save money on food and is the price of living better there too i’m in the United States.
Been feeling like the moisturiser I’ve used for years isn’t quite doing the job any more (in my 40s now 😐) so bought myself some of the Q10 serum (plus the night cream… it’s also marked vegan, although hidden away under the top flap so not immediately obvious) off the back of this vid; if my face drops off, I’m totally coming after you 😂
Update: Face hasn’t melted off! In fact, I’m really quite impressed with both of them; only a few days of using them and I can already feel a difference. Went back today to buy the day cream as well! Great recommendation, Paul… diolch!

@@ilovebillyjoel Honestly, I genuinely didn’t expect to like it but I’m so impressed with all three products. For someone who’s always had oily skin, having a slight tight feeling to my cheeks over the last year has been something new (got to love being a woman in her 40s 😬) and seemingly here to stay. It’s taken less than a week to feel a difference, layering the serum with my usual rose hip oil and then the night cream. And at £3.49 (serum) and £1.49 (day and night creams)! There is also a different, slightly more expensive, day and night cream at about £3.50, although there was none on the shelf for me to read the packaging of, but definitely worth a bit of looking up!
