- We took the plunge at last and had a drive out to our nearest Waitrose which is around 30 minutes drive for us. Have a look at what we found there.

Posting this on the evening we uploaded this waitrose Vlog as we've had the Indian feast bag for dinner and it was truly fabulous. Delicious and so cheap for such a great and diverse meal for two. Highly recommended.
Hey, you guys! I finally made it to England, just for a tiny little vacation. I live in Germany. I went to all the shops you're always vlogging about. Oh my! I finally got my hands on the Cathedral City cheese, the Hoisin No Duck wraps from M&S, the no steak bakes, the sausage rolls and the cheese cake. We never ever get these things in Germany, and I may have to book double seats on my way home, but dammit, Barbra, I will eat my way through all the vegan goodies, even if it kills me! Love you guys! ❤❤
Your waitrose poo poos all over my local one. Can't believe how much stuff, they have. Lucky to get 1 cheese and maybe a curry in mine. I might have to pop back, to mine, hopefully they've upped thier game now 💚💚💚
Wow, all those ready meals 👏 There must be a demand among regular Waitrose shoppers, which is heartening.
Historially Waitrose supermarkets were placed
in small market towns
and definitely targeted the middle classes.
When I lived in Oxfordshire towns like:
Witney, Wallingford, Banbury used to have them.
My memory of them was the veg was good quality
as were their ready-meal stuff - a bit like M&S Simply Food.
I was never a regular user but if you wanted a slightly exotic veg or fruit
they were always worth a trip.
Definitely going to check out our nearest Waitrose, choice of vegan options looks amazing ❤
Although a slightly higher price point, the essentials range is a very
reasonable price ❤

Love this vlog, shop from waitose bi-weekly and their quality never disappoints. My husband loves their Singapore noodles. Saw a few new things, thanks guys.
Yay you finally went to Waitrose! I commented before to say you should try there but you said it was quite far away. So pleased you went and loved it. I work for them 🥰 i tried the VFC chicken breasts for the first time last night coz we recently got them in at my store. Wrapped them in vegan bacon and smothered them in bbq sauce delicious!
I don't have a Waitrose nearby any more (there used to be one but it got replaced by a Lidl - I like Lidl but we already had 2 here!), I miss mooching around the store, but this has inspired me to have a look at getting a delivery, they seem to have a lot of new stuff since the last time I had a chance to look around.

It is fascinating what your favourite ready-to-go meals are. Sushi and Brown food are easy to find here in Canada but those lovely Sausage Rolls and "Meat" Pies would make a great head-to-head taste test. Yet another riveting vlog, gents.

Good job Waitrose on the cleaning products 👏 Years ago there was almost nothing clearly marked. M&S are good for this too. And it seems like the other supermarkets are gradually catching up. We're getting there guys, and you're helping massively 🙏🌱🥰

They also do an own-brand bar soap which is vegan and cruelty free and reasonably priced (4 bars appx £2)

My local Waitrose, please keep coming would be lovely to bump into you both sometime. Very lucky to have this Waitrose on my doorstep, have sampled most of the products you have shown in there. I particularly like the Singapore noodles as they have tofu in them. The chilli is very good, as are the takeaway bags. The Rhythm chocolate is my favourite too. You can always pop to Hillgate Cakery in Stockport on your way home to make it a vegan day out too! 🌱
You've given me a kick up the bum to visit Waitrose again! My nearest one is in Jesmond since the Newcastle Eldon Square one closed down. I always though Waitrose was the most expensive out of all the supermarkets but then I recall M&S Plant Kitchen Ravioli is around 3.50 or more so Waitrose it is.

Aaa soo glad you went to Waitrose!!!! I work at my local one and it’s a goldmine for vegans😍 all the own brand stuff is clearly marked it’s great!!! I get 20% off everything so the prices are absolutely fine for me but I do understand it can be a lot for other people but it’s defo good for a few treats that you can’t get in other places! I would definitely recommend picking up the leek and mushroom plant living sausages when you next go in, I love them!!!! I love waitrose but its a schlep up the M55 and thru Preston to where it is... its every few months at best.
Morrisons today had a new vegan range in, didnt have fone to take a pic and the names gone 🤯

I’m too lazy to go to the shops but I get a Waitrose delivery every 5 - 6 weeks to bulk buy loo rolls and baked beans (no connection) as they’re great and great value. Then I add a load of the Waitrose Essentials. A couple of years ago Waitrose started really ensuring the Vegan labelling was prominently displayed and active changes loads of their own brand it’s to vegan.

Waitrose is great, i do an online shop and their quality is great, their customer service is always great. While prices are higher than a lot of other shops, i do find the quality better and so it makes it worth it. Please let us know what you thought of the £11 Indian meal, i might try one if it was any good.

Waitrose is more expensive but the range is brilliant and loads of products you can't buy in many places. Labelling of own brand products is really good.
The Deliciously Ella pasta is really nice and often on offer. I always stock up when it is. The Waitrose Plant Living pasta is also really nice and again often on offer too.
Pieminster pies are often on offer on a 2 for offer.
I've had a few of the Plant Living ready meals yellow stickered and they are really good and worth the price for sure. The Indian banquet bag for 2 is 10/10
Waitrose dried pasta is top notch. Best supermarket dried pasta.
That Indian feast was spectacular. Just finished it.

Haha oh you two make me chuckle ..... the jumper ! I love Waitrose there vegan stuff is divine !!! I only go occasionally normally to get the Indian otherwise I end up spending to much !!!! I do have a Waitrose loyalty card and last trip I had a voucher for £2.50 off my Indian 😋

Agreed, the fruit and veg DOES look good in Waitrose. I rarely buy as it's a bit too pricey but when I have I've never been disappointed. Same with M&S fruit and veg.

A nice loooooong vlog! Prices here are more in line with what we pay for stuffs in the Upper Midwest of the US, but with far better a selection. Very useful for people who live near a Waitrose, I'm sure; I'd shop there all the time if I lived over there because I'd feel like I was getting a bargain, LOL! Thanks for posting 🙂

Glad you got to Waitrose chaps - during the lockdown I started online shopping with Ocado, who were then partnered with Waitrose. If you shopped with your sensible head on there were some quality bargains to be had. The one time we actually went to our nearest Waitrose store, which is 20 odd miles away, we were very impressed with the quality and variety of the fresh foods. Most note-worthy though was the great service from the staff there. An elderly lady was going through the checkout next to us, and when he had finished her transaction, the cashier closed his till and carried out her shopping the car and made sure she was safely packed away. Well done that man! Sadly Ocado are now partnered with M & S so Waitrose is just a distant memory! We have a fortnightly delivery from Ocado with 'staples' and then generally haunt Aldi and Sainsburys. By the way, we tried your mushy pea and frozen pea mixture the other night and it was flipping lovely! I added a drizzle of mint sauce on mine and it was brilliant! It will feature again very soon - I'm calling it Paul's Northern Guacamole - nom nom nom. xx

As per previous comment, your Waitrose really trumps my nearest. It’s in Sheffield city centre but its vegan shizzle is very poor indeed. That aside, their own brand is great especially for vegan & cruelty free products. Thank you for the vlog 🌱❤️

The nearest one to me is about 35 miles away! Would like to go for a nosy around! Have you got any Booths Supermarkets nr you? They’re considered the northern equivalent of Waitrose!

Ooh do Taifun still make tofu hot dogs? They are blimmen lovely, as is the smoked tofu. The Waitrose near me used to stock both, i would go in for those and come out with a handful of treats and a receipt for £70. It's dangerous but they have some good stuff!
