When Marcus called him on the phone You can notice how his mind went from relaxed from the video game he was playing to SHARP like the edge of a Katana when he said "Yes, Sir!"
He did response in a "what?" but immediately switched to full combat knowing the situation was serious. This is how every movie character should response when they receive such a call, unlike the usual delays of: "What do you mean there's an incoming?" "What do they want?" "Where are you?" "OMG Should I call the police?" "But are you coming home for dinner?"

@@mikaelowe8430 oh I am sorry Mr. Salty
So true
@@mikaelowe8430 what a ray of sunshine you are, pal
glad they gave the quiet, humble side char who is normally used as a running gag a scene to shine
He went from weak teen to John Wick, and like three seconds
Reggie wick
Marcus & Mike might've taught him well & he was in the military
Was never weak. Didn't flinch when they were picking on him at the door at the beginning
He might have been weak when he was 15 but I don't think he was ever bereft of courage.@@Paul-jf7wp
For real Reggie became a family man and would do anything to protect his family
Never thought about Reggie having a character arc in Bad Boys… but they pulled it off perfectly
That smile was hella wild at the end, I love this dudes progression man WHAT A KILLA
im glad they kept him and his storyline going
Same
Reggie graduated from "young punk" to honorary "Bad Boy"
Thing is, he was never really a punk.. Look at his style of clothes and how he showed respect straight up.
Honorary? meh, just wait for it, they'll release a Reggie+Armando spin-off. Which would work wonders, with reggie being the military polite guy and Armando being the reformed cartel hitman
He was never a punk.
He was a respectful kid, never ever a punk!
I’m so happy he got his due!
Respectful kid and you call his character a punk? Am I missing something here?
Reggie and Armando should be the Bad Boy prodigies cause they're insanely awesome
Armando & Reggie spin off movie, like Hobbs & Shaw. 😂
I put that on Will and Reggie IG page and @ them...Need that BB5 and Marcus and Mike be Co-Captain
@@Avenue77 They need to seriously make that happen.. It is practically an automatic money maker..
@@Avenue77 I think it would be better if sat Marcus and Mike were taken hostage and its up to Reggie and Armando to go and get them...instead this time it goes on a global scale
@@00ghostcobra I done seen other people voicing this to happen yo
@@Apollyon2119 I can see that happening but US Marshall is still looking for Armando because that lady helped him out. Reggie must meet up with Armando then team up 🔥
"next time i see you, its gonna be chitty chitty bang bang" the callback was brilliant 😅
The most badass character development in movie franchise history 👏
Facts
Couldn’t agree more with you
Best scene in the movie. Loved it.
Reggie doing WORK. So good.
just watched it on netflix and it wasn't included... had to come here to watch it
9:30 the moment they realised their not in their prime anymore and Reggie was😂😂
THEY’RE not, not “THEIR not”. Remedial, EARLY English. Zero excuses. Educate yourself. Be better
@@MultilinguistGlobalFitBlessed i speak English cuz that's the only language that you know and you speak English cuz that's the only language you know. We are not the same…
Average online Grammar Nazi:@PetrodollarDealEndedSoWakeUp
@@sergiostzera7002 damn that is cool answer
@@sergiostzera7002 English is the undisputed most descriptive and widely used language in the world. So much so that most languages don't have an equivalent word to many English words, you're not smarter just because you were born to use a half baked language and had to learn a proper language in order to get anywhere in life.
As an example, do you know what the Russian, french, polish and everyone else in the worlds word for "tank" is? That's right you guessed it, it's tank.
You can see similar examples in most languages, in India half of their words are English thrown in with native words because they had no words for the things we brought.
You are like everyone else in the world who thinks you are superior because you know a language other than your own. Pathetically really.
Englands inventions and the English language have influenced the world far more than any other country in history. So don't be so quick to judge when you are in fact a product of Britain's absolute dominance.
Just realizing that watching Reggie grow up was the best part about the B.B. movies. He finally got his both his Respect & Get back.
Reggie got the acceptance of the alpha dogs.and their respect
That's alot of what it's about in a close knit family.
Acceptance is one thing. Reggie got them both scared of him 😂
Will Smith ain't no alpha lol
That smile at bbq pit at the end of Bad Boys Ride or Die was Reggie finally made it
Now Reggie is the Alpha
Listen the way Reggie earned his spot on that grill 😂😂 ..... Im already ready for a sequel- when Reggie goes on another mission😅
Crazy how the guy has had like 3 roles in his life but did great stuntwork and has decent acting chops
Bro is definitely in the Marine Special Forces. Theres no telling me otherwise. But we definitely need a spinoff of Reggie's adventures.
I'm down with that
No def not. His ribbons say otherwise.
He was trained for Embassy security, he's a Gunny, they different, just saying

Personally, I’d be fine with Reggie just being the mystery. All we gotta know he’s a good dad, a man who loves his family and a guy who deserves respect.
I can’t lie his scene 🎬 was exactly what the movie needed. The fact you didn’t see it coming made it that much better. Good job
Agreed really enjoyed it and felt the love for reggie.
Y’all betta let Reggie cook his chicken 🍗 😭😭😭 👏🏾 FKN Love it!!!
When Marcus called him on the phone You can notice how his mind went from relaxed from the video game he was playing to SHARP like the edge of a Katana when he said "Yes, Sir!"

He did response in a "what?" but immediately switched to full combat knowing the situation was serious. This is how every movie character should response when they receive such a call, unlike the usual delays of:
"What do you mean there's an incoming?"
"What do they want?"
"Where are you?"
"OMG Should I call the police?"
"But are you coming home for dinner?"
Gotta love that he didn't just earn Marcus' respect, but that of his boys too
Reggie was always a beast. He didnt falter when they pulled their gun on him even at 15.
9:49 That's the look of triumph while he's thinking "They know what I'm capable of now."
Snapping off that salute at the end was the chefs kiss for me!!
Reggie doesn't get PTSD he gets Nostalgia
This mf *GIVE YOU* PTSD men 😂
Glad Reggie stood the test of time can't wait to see how they develop his character further
I never get tired of watching this!!! Beautiful ❤
He's a Marine. Semper Fi. Marines never quit. No matter what.
He got that Devil Dog in 'im
Martin Lawrence is hilarious whenever he acts with “Reggie” 😂
I've watched this clip dozens of times. I've also ALWAYS smiled with Reggie at the end.
This dude went BEAST MODE ! 🔥🔥💪🏾 WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUUUUUSE ! 🤙🏾
From can you fight ? To damn he killed 15 people to he's cooking his chicken 🤣
from 15 to 15 ^^
His transformation was best. Earning the respect of his father in law and mike. They were so proud of him protecting the family❤❤❤
What I like best is he never became crude and swaggering either, he was always respectful and wasn't looking for approval.
If he was 15 in 2003 that means he was born in 87 or 88. Which also means he probably volunteered for the Marines during the middle of two bad wars. Don't fuck with Reggie.
@@secondhandevil Oh wow you're right! No wonder he could do what he did.
I think Reggie needs his own movie after that action scene
I agree, i would definitely watch... Us Jarheads gotta support eachother.
I said same thing except Will's son and Reggie need to team up like martin and will and do a spin off. Those two are deadly 😅
@@gregorygraham9181 Haha i said the same thing after seeing that movie. I would totally support a spin off like that.
Ayo real talk gimme a movie with Reggie going through his hardest missions as a marine...I could see a heartfelt moment where he takes his wallet out with a picture of Megan like those cliche's and I'd still love it...real talk Reggie by far the best side character
I second that motion! 😂
This edit was everything, alots of us will go back to see Reggie in his 15 yrs again..
He really made him proud, so proud of his daughter..every reasonable father happiness
Funniest part was reggie kicking ass and the smile at the end haha finally got the respect of the bad boys and much deserved ! 30 years of him is amazing to watch on screen and the rest of the team
i loved the Reggie Scene... he's a grown man and protective of his family... loved it!!!!
Bro.. I was with my mouth open in disbelief during his whole scene... He was such a badass 🥶 and proud too, like I know him or something 😂 5 stars for them giving him this scene to shine bright af
I love how he raised the volume up on the tv knowing the sounds of the gun fire would distract and disorient the people breaking in
2004 Can you fight?
2024 Question answered. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
1996()
All my boy needed was that one "NOW" and he went turned into.... HIM.
This was the perfect setup to continue the the franchise with a new generation, Armando and Reggie.
Even the subtlety of him turning up the volume on the TV was great.
I had to scroll back 13 days to find a comment on this.
It's was a brilliantly understated tactical situational awareness example that seemingly most people missed.
@SkipAd_Vegas I totally missed that! The gun fire from the game drew them to that room, and he knew where they would be! It was BRILLIANT! Only someone with tactical training would pick up on that. I, for one, do NOT have that training😂😂😂
This has been the best transition in movie history! Reggie went people talking about,
Picking on to being the most needed …at the end he turned into a hardcore Marine Bad Ass!!! Get it Reggie!!!
The writers and choreographers of these scenes are absolute legends! Super smart people! 🙌
never seen a single movie of badboys, only clips of these two scenes. May need to watch it sometime.
Reggie became a badass frl! And I love that 4th wall break smirk at the end. Letting us know he got em back!😂.🤣💖💯💯
