Deepest Apologies for how some of the audio sounds. The song came up as copyrighted and youtube removed some parts of the song but not others. I hope you still enjoyed the video, thanks for understanding.
Fishing With Timmy Turtle eh no worries, I reckon your followers to be wise enough to take more from your vids than the music you play in the background 😜 Cherry boat 🤙🏽 Aloha, Stay Bent🎣.
Fishing With Timmy Turtle I was just about to say... Like where is majority of the music? And then I read your comment
There are a few ideas for building boats:
Allow plenty time.
take advantage of ready made boat outlines.
(I read about these and more from Denelle Boat Builder website )
I'm glad I came down here. I thought my phone was broken. Lol
Is that a kit or plans boat beside tall in the yard..?? Nice job on the build TT
i hope you buy that bloke 100 cartons what a legend he is !

Hi , 👋, Timmy, wow I see that you started out building boat's at a young age . That's just a great job and very impressive 💯. I'm almost a senior citizen but should I ever consider building a boat , now I know where to look up the information from your DIY . Thank you, Mate 💯👍🙏🏻😇😎👍🇺🇸👋
Lets get that thing on some GT brother!!! Awesome build Timmy the 🐢 !
The guys tool bags are on backwards. Love it
Fabulous effort built a two 5 m sea kayak with students using similar materials and it turned out fantastic. Can't wait to see your finished product.
Just got home from arvo shift. Been stinging to watch this all day. FUCK YESS TIMMY.
Fantastic! So generous to share the build with us. 👍👏🏻 congratulations on the presentation and the step by step guide. Everything is perfectly understandable and clear. You both make a great team, the sorcerer and the apprentice 😂 no arguing or any friction just good mates, a pleasure to watch. You struck gold with Jamie, brilliant 🍺🍺🍺
He’s good. All free handed and was spot on 👍🏻
Wish I could build one of these to fish our lake and for the delta, would make it so much easier than having to drag the bass boat out during the week after work, you Aussies sure know how to build awesome water toys.
Top job mate, keen as to see you put her to work.
i just started bro... thank you so much!
For putting in the fillets I think a frosting bag with a good size tip would be handy.
This looks awesome mate, my wife is going to hate this being built in our garage...
hahaha my mum was the same. very dusty when it comes to the sanding!
Great build boat amazing
use a zipper bag to lay the thickened polyester or epoxy, fill the bag cut a corner off and pipe it into the corners (like decorating a cake), works a lot faster, the scraped off glue you can put back in the bag until all is used
Love that accent!
18 by 18 = ayedeen buy ayedeen
beautiful. I know its going to be a fish magnet
good vid mate, I'm currently sanding back fibreglass on my project boat and it's tough! I appreciate your work, keep it up!😀
Going hard Timmy, awesome to see you evolving and changing things up. The new build is looking stout too. Keep it up.
At the moment it looks like more like an Ikea bookcase than a boat! Look forward to seeing it progress. How good is it to have mates that have tools and skills :)
That was the first day I met Jamie but after seeing his tools I’d say we will be mates for a long time to come hahahaha. Nah he’s a legend so glad he took his time to show me how to build the awesome boat
Glad to see you guys using all the correct PPE!😆😆
Timmy Turtle pipe dreams 2.0 mangrove boss jack slayer limited edition hand built boats....so sick! Shut up and take my money haha. Can't wait to see it finished and on the water..👌
Get rid of the screws on the transom and replace with large diameter washers and stainless bolts to spread the load 👍
Thats so freaking cool.
I didnt know i needed one of these until seeing your other video
Awesome build and I let out a holler with you on her launch! My dad and I have been talking about building a boat together and I believe I just found my next project. Wishing you nothing but tight lines brother all the way from Memphis, TN.
Pulled the trigger! I ordered the plans. I've watched this series three times now, haha!
Great video Timmy, can't wait for the next installment.
May even have a crack at one myself.
Now that's awesome I'm thrilled your getting a new man made boat. nothen like useing something you built your self or with friends. Can't weight to see the next steps. Good job and god bless
Danny Schwab wait.
Music Islife yea that too. God bless
Looks very sturdy! How long does that PU glue take to dry? Also, why take the screws out since you're going to fibreglass it anyway? I mean, the screws will never see the water to rust? Thanks.
THIS IS SWEET!! Watching the entire series!
Good job can’t wait to see it finished
Should have used Cabosil for the fillets Microspheres are not for structural fillets only fairing. Try a plastic spoon for spreading vs a pop stick.
Happy to see your notification pop up!
On my way to Bunnings now! How good!
Those transom knees should have had strips of wood attached to them so when you screwed the transom the screws could bite into solid wood. You're basically screwing the transom into the end grain of the plywood on the knees which is not a strong connection. I hope it has fared well!
omg that looks great timmy. I love how you show us its not impossible to make something amazing.
Where can I get the plans Timmy?
Use expanding foam for a solid base, some waterproofness, and always floats.
where are you guys? not sure UK, AUSI, KIWI, cool to see a carpenter in another country work, quit sure we would get on fine!
in australia mate
Hey Timmy this is a bloody awesome project, just wondering if you could provide a rough guide to how much this cost you in materials. Pretty keen to try making one of these, keep the vids coming mate this skiff is a beast
Hello ! I would love the plans so I can build this please . Is that possible ?
Why not stainless screws through the whole skiff left in for more strength?
That's looking mint!!!!
Big 50kg GT on the new raft mate?! Haha! Legendary stuff bro! 👍👍👍
You should make timmy turtle stickers
crazy how you did all of that in one day
Tim cannot find the blueprint for this boat build. Want to do it in aluminum. The site for the blueprint does not exist now.
Sick need to see some videos on this soon
yer mate every couple of days they will go up :)
Awesome Timmy .... great video ... nothing like watching a clip of other people doing hard work LOL. Nice to see you getting you hands dirty and helping out .... unlike that slacker Rod who just buys his skiff (just joking Rod). Can't wait to see it out on the water - will it be able to get out on the ocean ? You're right Jamie is a magician .... it would have taken me two years to do that. Will the next episode come out in time for the next NRL GF ?
Haha rod has got the family thing going I’m sure he would have loved to build one if he had the time. Next episode Thursday night. Started filming the series last year.
love the work boots timmy :)
im very skeptical about this. is a plywood really good to dip in water. what kind of quality ply do you use here? i think plywood are just a good quality of cardboard.
Finally a new video
That'll be a luxury liner mate.
I’m guessing you’ll need a trailer for that , looking good so far
yer mate next vid haha cheers
What Size are those Sheets of marine ply? Overthinking of Building something like that in Germany but I don't know if those Sheets are the same in Germany.
Shout out to jamie for building this boat. You da man Jamie!
Barefoot and construction... gotta love it
Tim's back again.........Booyah
Can I get a copy of the plans for the boat build?
Great desugn
Hi timmy I'm in the USA in Texas I would like to build one of your skiffs I have the plans but everything is in mm. My question is if our 1/2 inch is equivalent to you 9mm. Or is it 1/4 inch
“Aww, you’re a magician!” Haha. I don’t know why I found that so funny. 🤠👍🏻
Great job M8
This work is why I want a plasma cutter
How good mate ! Well done
awesome team effort guys. already like and subscribed. can't wait to see the finished product
Can’t wait for finished product. Love the warts and all approach to your vids.
Any information on your friends boat? I'm interested in seeing more of that one too
Timmy, quality content mate. keep it up
Fillets: Micro balloons in epoxy are not structural. If you want fillets that add joint strength, use cotton flox in the epoxy to make a composite fillet. The flox is available through Wicks Aircraft and Motor Sports.
What's the link to Jamie's build?
In one day that was a lot of work only possible with an expert.
So keen to finally see these vids. yeww
Woww Timmy Turtle I was very impressed seeing you build the plywood boat !!! That was sick man AMAZING VIDEO
That is cool and thanks for sharing all the details. Just a question why do you need to remove all the screws?
Awesome thanks for sharing from robert UK London
Nice one looks sick
Awesome quality mate 🤙🏻👍🏻
I would have inset the transom reinforcement twice the thickness of the transom boards the attach the transom to the bottom of boat
For that stuff you used at the end... If you do it again I get a cheap calking tool would work wonders. Have you tried that? It looks like this had been done by your pro helper before. He definitely seems to know what he's doing
Keep it up, mate. Big fan from the West coast USA. Can't wait to see part 2.
Good job
Nice job
Sick as vid mate, lookin forward to the future vids!!!
Awesome mate. Fishing in comfort
Cheers Timmy for the inspiration.do you make air tight compartments for added safety.. think this is a great idea you have composed better and stronger than an inflatable paddle board :) just gonna wat pt 2 cheers from pomme land brother.
I'm interested in the plans " VERY " But for basic boat plan info, How long and wide is it?? I was sold before the marlin, but even more when I saw that, lol.
how long is the boat bec I want to know big it is before I buy the instructions but if its to big i wont have any were to store it and
How has it held up
Cutiously I have the impression it will turn into a submarine after few weeks in water. You did it put any water résistant point to cover it up all. Beneath and over.I think also you forgot to and a bilge pump inside. Beleive me water always find a way to get in.
Also Timmy it would be great to see pipedream 2.0 in Raby Bay canals if you get the chance. I know a great spot for launching if need be.
time for a cold one.. day 2 now... :)
AWESOME video Tim. U are an inspiration
T.T.what is the design of the boat your buddy built in this video
Tim, love to see the channel growing and evolving, it’s probably fully finished but let me know if u want a hand with the electrical setup..
How do you go about getting certification? By buying your plans would that give certification to get this registered?
If there is an opportunity to come to Thailand.Teach me how to build a boat for me.😁😁
I'm going to watch all the vids on this build, but, if they take questions- why no support board for the bottom middle of the transom?
Didn’t feel it needed I guess you are welcome to put one in though if you want the extra support I guess it wouldn’t hurt
oldschooldiy
Yes ! I wondered about that too. you would think it would be the most important part to reinforce. But what would I know ? i'm just a truckie.
