Not gonna lie I'm a jacked dude but inner bicep and chest humbled me very quickly.

definitely the second. my first tattoo was on my collarbone and when she got to the spicier parts i just took a slow breath and was like ‘damn that doesn’t feel too nice’ and kept laying there

I'm a little bit of both if I'm being honest. I guess it really depends on a few things like area getting tattooed. The person who is doing the tattoo matters as well. I've gotten tattooed by my brother and he dug in the skin too deep so it was a bit uncomfortable. I tattooed myself after learning the basics a doing 3 years of tattoos on fake skin and I hardly felt a thing
Only have one and I was definitely the second. I have to say I got it in an easy spot (inner forearm).

Just got a collarbone tattoo I was goin with it for the most part but round 2 on the bone is what got me making faces for a hot min.

I just got a huge tattoo done on the inner bicep of my left arm (I’m a little skinny) and it was less painful than I thought lmao. Didn’t even cringe one bit. Seriously.

In my own small experiences, my knuckle tattoos were a blast (my first ones). I got told by friends that they would be the worst place to start for the pain alone, to be honest it was pretty cruisy.
Though I am curious about my throat next
I got my throat (full neck sleeve), knuckles, hand, face, full arm sleeve, and full chest piece and my chest was the most painful piece I’ve gotten, throat wasn’t too bad and knuckles weren’t bad at all. You’ll be fine just remember its a much bigger area than your knuckles and the worst part is the awkward way you have to sit and stretch your neck makes it harder to breathe. The pain is manageable tho, adam’s apple is the worst spot and it wasn’t too bad cuz its a small area. Hope this helps you

Got two collar bone tattoo and freaking hurts that I feel the vibration of the needle up to my jaws. Next stop ribs.

Sat for 10 hrs lmao my wrist got shading all over them mdf passed that needle over them like 100 times on the sides where ur bone is
bet you wouldnt have noticed how many times the needle went over in another less painful area but you watch like a hawk when it hurts
I just sat through 3 hours with one bathroom break and only shed silent tears & some questionable moans when he got to my hair line, neck, front of shoulder etc

Just got my first session done on my japanese sleeve n I hope to god the shading isnt as bad as the outline cause my artist said i did great but literally i was in my head the whole time repeating “there is no pain, there is no pain” just to get through it😂😂

Just had my first tattoo ever. Half sleeve, 14 hour session with 10 under the needle. I have nothing to compare it to so I felt like a bitch but my artist seemed to think I did alright.
