I appreciate it.
The people you saw close to the mosque who you thought could be Ethiopians are probably Kenyan Somalis
Damn bro went from Cuba to Kenya? I was in Kenya in 2018 and loved it, such a vibe being in the motherland.
Nairobi is absolutely amazing. Very many places to visit. Word of advice though: Be careful when walking around in the CBD with your camera especially downtown. Other than that, hope you enjoy your stay. Karibu!
Nairobi has the best climate in the world. One day I will get there. One day.
Thanks for the video.
U will love Mombasa town too.. the beache r wow
You must be a cool guy to fit in with all the different cultures. I’m going to Kenya in November so I’ve been watching your videos.
Kenya is amazing - and Nairobi has some awesome restaurants!
Love the street view of everyday life. Makes me feel like I get to know the real place without any pretense or glamour shots! Thanks for doing this.
Hello Greetings from San Diego California sooo I Have been Enjoying your RUclips Travels in Different Countries Thanks
Karibu Kenya. I love your determination to know the country. Despite what media says Nairobi is pretty safe as you can see. Kenya is a multi ethnic multi cultural society. We live in harmony with all religions. So you will see beautiful mosques churches temples and other places of worship. Do not be surprised. That's just how we live and we don't even notice our differences until visitors point them out just blend in and enjoy the diversity
Indeed, I love Kenya as a somali. Very welcoming and loving people.

My man!!! Looking forward to seeing your adventures there
Love your videos man
Welcome to Kenya/Nairobi! Where you got your groceries is actually a small supermarket - prices are generally higher from such sources - if you find a market (they're in pretty much all neighborhoods, with the big one in the CBD about 15 minutes from where you were at), you'll notice the pricing difference!
WOW I really enjoyed this
Love your videos and the experience, would like to see also when you actually going through the traveling process.
Nice video thanks !
Nwannem, as always, dope video bro! We're all looking forward to your future videos in Africa!
Awesome video man… Sly’s africa series sounds good !

Wow!!! you are doing your thing. I'm impressed jealous and look forward to your insight my biggest regret in I never visited Africa. The closest I got was Marseille France 🇫🇷.
You welcome. You still have time
13:50 lol i can hear those hawks sound from upthere flying around and round the buildings
I came here to post the same thing. Like, was that a pterodactyl?
You can find really huge birds around the city, especially as you get closer to Nairobi Nat park. These scavengers roam around that area because the park is close and they eat the left overs from other animals.
thanks for showing us that eatery. i will consider it when I visit the CBD soon. food looks delicious
This looks like a dope trip already
So surreal! Ever since your first video 4-5 years ago. You've always lived in Latin America. This is gonna be very interesting and so different!
awesome vid
Oh wow you made a serious power move!
Thanks for your post. I will be in Naibori next week for the first time. Cannot wait!!! I plan on doing some city tours, safari, and checking out some local foods and entertainment while there. I hear Nairobi Street Kitchen has some good restaurants as well.
You're welcome brother
If you're a foodie, go to Beit e Salam in Westlands.. best food in the city right now.
@Stan You are welcome. If you need tour guide feel free to reach out.
Make sure you go to the Carnivore Restaurant and try out some game meat. Good experience!
We are voting today, so just do your due diligence on the state of affairs.
Karibu Kenya. Have a positive attitude and you'll have a memorable visit. I schooled in the US East Coast then spent a few years in the West
Sly is such a vibe. Thanks for visiting motherland.
Good looking on showing Kenya
Besides jet lag, it is also challenging getting use to the time zone over there. It will take a few days to adjust.
Add the altitude to the list of things to adjust to
You killed it
Great, welcome to Kenya ( Karibu Kenya) , was great seeing you digging in at Kosewe, hope you enjoyed your ugali and tilapia fish.......make sure you visit a nyama choma /barbecue joint........Enjoy your stay
I like the way he walks around vlogging without fear of getting robbed.Enjoy your stay in our wonderful city
I was thinking the same thing too.
Signs of a badass
@@sande6410 No bad ass here, he just didn't know what's up. Foreigners do that in every city but once they've gone through "induction" everyone get's more careful with their shit
stop you guys comment like it's the most dangerous place when there's multiple videos of people walking and recording all the time in cbd.
It's a total shit hole! Wonderful city? put the jet fuel down.
The fish looks delicious!
Welcome to kenya 🇰🇪 i hope that you'll enjoy ur stay here.
A beautiful, clean, and developed African city. Yes!
Smart ass!!
Debatable
Until a power outage or a heavy rain has you knee high in flooded water in the streets
A beautiful, clean, and developed African city? Where? Everywhere I have looked is a total shit hole..No thank you!

Sly my man. You are truly living the dream.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Looks more like a nightmare! Shit hole!!
Welcome sir. Some tips. Big stores are Naivas and Carrefour. Have pretty much everything. For fruits and veggies there's Ngara market which is like 10- 15 minutes walk from where you started this video. Enjoy your stay sir.
Java was founded by an American chef who sold his coffee shops for $100m when they were doing annual revenues of $40m. They have a Starbucks experience and sell locally grown coffee. Find out what's missing here and sell it to us.
Not surprised👌🏾👌🏾
It got to 10c yesterday morning. That’s chilly
Your meal looked delicious! I watch a couple of Kenyan vlogs and ugali is definitely the staple with meals. Can be made with millet, cassava, or other flours. Weetabix is one of my favorite simple cereals. They sell it in the US too tho I first had it on my visit to South Africa. Hope you have a great time. 👍🏽👍🏽
Weetabix is a very common british breakfast. Like tea and marmalade.
@@xtxt9135 Ah ok and makes sense w/ Kenya and SA being former colonies. It’s really delicious I think.
Keep it up bro.
Wow Kenya, I expected to go Chile. Beautiful people of Kenya
Great job 👍🏿. #Nairobi 🇰🇪
Jeevanjee Gardens…that’s what the park’s called that you passed in the beginning. I miss Nairobi. Grew up there now living in Cali.
Omg I’m so excited you went to Africa!!
Spend some money and go .Bit more exciting.
He went to Kenya! Africa is a big continent with 54countries!
@@LK-cb6ih yes I know Africa is a continent. I’m just stating that he is no longer in Latin America where he normally travels, and is in Africa.
Hey,since u love fish, visit dunga beach, the floating restaurant and eat fresh fish directly fished straight from the lake, and wigot restaurant u will be eating on top of a heel as u see and watch every thing from up the restaurant.
Rusinga island and takawiri restaurant for bird watching and the fresh water sandy beach to relax and view lake victoria, the 2nd fresh water lake in the world.
That's wuz up Brada keep it up, go all the way to kikish mean kikomba mathare etc 👍
Very cool
Remember me? We met in the lift at KICC the other day. Hope to see that video
Awesome differences contrast between Puerto Rico, Cuba, now Nairobi like that fish looks delicious ☺️☝🏾 Love your vids Brother 🙏🏽💚🇺🇸
The fish with all the fly's on it? Yummy!!!
@@leemontoya8028 troll, haters gonna hate, the fact we aren't poor like your made to believe by your media.
@@purityn5498 Poor? You need to find some clean water somewhere and wash your eyes, and watch the video again, if that's not poor! I don't know what is..
Weee Omondi! Acha kujifanya bwana! Wewe ni Omondi! The way umerarua hiyo samaki...the way umefinya samaki mifupa ikaanguka kando, na ukajua ile imebaki haina mifupa? Good stuff Omondi. I am officially your fan Omondi. You are such a storyteller. You narrating that was like listening to commentators while watching a World Cup football (soccer) match between chilled teams like Colombia vs Switzerland.
Great! Finally you're in the motherland, I can't wait to see what you discover.
Maybe a homeless person? or a mugging? tripping over all the trash! yes! let's see!!
It was nice to see u walk certain streets I walked. No lie though, this vid gave me some anxiety cuz I know how blogging in town draws negative attention. Nice. Returning in a few months.
Nice trying our food
Welcome bro
I see that Kilamanjaro restaurant that was across the street from where you ate. You in the same area where another youtuber was about a month ago.
You tore that meal up. Must’ve been delicious!
to the bone lol
Try kilimanjaro restaurants...it's great too
Enjoy my home , go to Diani , kilifi and more !!!
