This is episode 39:
Today I’m taking a look at a rather superb 1-4 player game from publisher GMT Games - Versailles 1919 - designed by the collected brilliant minds of Mark Herman and Geoff Engelstein.
Versailles 1919 is a Eurogame of political competition over issues between the Great Powers as they write the treaty that will end World War 1.
In the game you will play as one of the 4 great powers choosing from the UK, US, France and Italy using a card bidding system where you will place influence on the issues facing the powers, to control how they will be written into the final treaty.
This is a fantastic eurogame featuring some elegant and brilliantly designed game mechanics that really bring the theme of this game to the forefront, and is highly highly recommended indeed !!
