@@hitscanningscumbag9161 i actually built one myself recently and i just added spacer between the wood and the case so there is a gap for air to go through
this video inspired me so much that i started my own project, i got very old pc case from my neighbour couple of months ago and it was laying in my room and after ive seen this video i decided to renew it for my girlfriend, i drilled all the rivets and took apart entire case, cleaned it ( it was rusty from bird & bats poo because it was laying in neighbours attic for years), then i shortened the case by cutting off entire front section where cd roms were and other old stuff, took the measurements and cut the rest of the panels ( top & bottom parts and side panels to fit ) and then i cut a big hole in the side panel where tiny fans used to be and put a big tempered glass piece which i got from old broken laser copy machine which i found in the trash, today I cut a square piece from the cut panels of the case and put it on the front panel to cover the holes and cut two holes to fit 140mm fans, now im waiting for the paint to dry and tommorow im riveting the case back together and i will mount the wood piece to the front which which has vertical holes cut out for airflow, if anyone wants to see the photos & the final result when i finish the case reply and ill put it on google drive or smth and give the link
I got an old grey case I want to make look good again. The front panel is all yellow and the plastic is very brittle. I wanted to pain the case inside and outide white and maybe add a side panel. But the front really needs replacing. I was thinking about putting on a wood front panel but wasn't sure if it would look nice. Seeing your vid, I think it looks really elegant
Simple and beautiful outlook but not good cooling, seems air only can be inhaled from the holes near pci-e slots, if you cut a hole and put a fan on bottom it will be much better.
A great way to make clean straight cuts is to put tape down first, then draw your line on the tape and make your cut through the tape. You can see what you are doing much better.
Yeah air flow is not great when i did the final build but the components never got too hot though even when stress testing, I wouldn't put anything super powerful in there though.
What about airflow? I like this idea so i started modding my case but i cut 3x 12" fans at front and now i have problem to fit wood panel... Does anyone has solution?
You should still have space in the corners of the front of the case to mount the wooden panel. However be careful as your case will be very weak during this process and could bend out of shape
@@miroslavrezina if air is getting in, it should be good lol and i dont rly recommend rgb fans becuz its a simple design but maybe go with white led fans

RIP Airflow
Nah i dont need them
im worried about the airflow a bit but its a really cool concept
Nothing to worry about, there's no airflow whatsoever!:)
Was thinking of that myself. One could always drill holes in the glass or add a couple of fans...
@@hitscanningscumbag9161 i actually built one myself recently and i just added spacer between the wood and the case so there is a gap for air to go through
Love this mate, would gladly have this setup on my desk! Hopefully restrictions ease here after the six weeks.
Bro, this is one of the best way to make a case. I am going to try this out once I get some new parts for an upgrade :)
Good work, but there is now airflow from the front. How does it let air in?
Good video, focus on safety and using what you had to bring new life into something. Nice work

That's awesome man! I'd love to see the results!
I'd love to see it bro
Very clean and everything, just needs airflow improvement
Excelente trabajo. FELICITACIONES
very clean and minimalistic
Should drill a hole at the bottom of the case for a 80/92mm fan, right under where the hard drive mounts are, so its kind of hidden.
Good thinking
Ficou muito bom! Top de mais!! Parabéns amigo! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇧🇷

So cool, I'm actually gonna do this. Thank you
Bro this is *amazing work*
Job well done ;)
Looks great with the wooden front nice man!

Great project and great video.
Thanks mate I was finding a way to upgrade my PC case and thank you

Beautiful and inspiring work, my friend.
Very simple, but turned out nice.
Thanks mate
Hey that's clean.
Hopefully it won't suffocate 🔥
Good job. Looks fantastic!
nice and clean Looks Awesome
You know, if you put a block of wood on the concave side of the dents, you can hammer the other side flat.
I love this PC case so much but if my dad will let me do this to my pc
I’ve got a few more case designs coming in a few weeks but this is great besides from airflow, still looks good haha
Ya and can you make the Lenovo thinkcentre m58 I'll send a video of my pc its 11 years ol
ruclips.net/video/90gwlhESJjI/видео.html do this pc this is mine and I like the design of this video but with air flow
the wooden front panel is definitely a hard pass from me. poor airflow.
I’m gonna try this But keep the internal normal Bc I’m broke but once I get some money I can upgrade my pc
Nicely done mate!
Good job. Looks great.
Thanks!
Needs a 10mm spacer (for airflow from the edges ) and some rgb fans behind it
Why rgb lmao
@@fhvawrvc8260 Because he thinks it's cool.
@@beavatatlan lmfaoo
@@beavatatlan u won't be able to see it from the outside anyways just the inside
You uhh. You're gonna need to pull that wood off and put some cushioning between it and the fans. The cooling relies on air coming in through there.
0 air flow dude looked like just 1 120mm bottom fan and 1 rear 120 mm fan....
Looks good! But I don't see air flow there...

My PC is different and so slow pc I mean its lenovo thinkcentre m58 not the one hu looks like a console but the one hu is big
I'll many not build this :(
Soo, is it that cold mate inside? or is it cool to wear a jacket inside... proper stuff mate
Nice
Can you write the width and height of the wood you placed in front of the safe?
Now do the polar opposite by making a new case with see through side panels become what your project ended up as in this video.
What about the air flow bro 😁😁😁😁

Maybe cut the top of the case and add a white dust filter and add intake fans in top of the case
@@cjcog37 It is very weak. Well i am still thinking. Plus i dont know should i use rgb or just purple fans 🤔
@@thelaw9937 No more cuting 😁It is very weak. I have 3 in front, one at bottom and one at back(+ one psu at back)

i have the same hd5450 but its broken
Nice though you could have removed CDROMbays creating more space as they are no longer required
Yeah that is true, I'll definitely keep that in mind for next time
It's like the more I watch these the more I see poor air flow.
what is first remix name?
What intro song did you use for this?

How to set fans
People arguing about airflow lol it's an old case, you don't want to put a 3090 in that
Modern PC cases look pretty trash ngl
