Lemme guess, you threw an outdated office desktop in the river, then filmed yourself "discovering" it. This isn't an antique, this isn't even from 20 years ago. This is probably just your old desktop you had in storage.
The mud swirl on the side panel he picks up is TOTALLY not an indication he smeared it in mud before "discovering" it. Most of the videos have mud brushed into the computer or phone he found. Man, old parts laying around in fields, on the side of streets, I'm sure it's like that over where you live too :D so reallife ... not

You measure what on that board? Air? :D
You mean randomly prodding a board with no schematic with a meter on it's lowest Ohm setting won't tell him anything? lol
@@93hopeless he's measuring resistance. The meter supplies the power, the black probe being the neutral, and the red probe being the positive. All he is doing is ascertaining whether the current from the meter will flow to the probes via the board. I'd be more worried about having bathed both the power supply and the hard drive ! The chances of either of them coming back to life is akin to a snowball in hell. 😂

Did this dude really just use water to clean computer parts lmao...smh
You can wash some computer parts with water and soap, so long as you make sure they're 100% dry before applying power again. I've washed logic boards, peripheral cards and power supplies with water and dawn dish soap for years with no issues. It's one of the best ways to clean them if capacitor leakage has happened, as the electrolyte is corrosive and you want to be sure all of it is gone. Another good case for washing boards is nasty greasy restaurant computers, or computers from smoker's houses.
There are however some things you should never get wet. Hard drives and other mechanical media devices (floppy drives, optical drives, ZIP drives, tape backup, etc.) Hard drives especially will be ruined if any water gets inside where the platter stack is.
Fans can be washed as long as you don't get water in the bearings, which will ruin the grease. Though it's not a huge loss if that happens, it's not hard to remove the shaft clip and pull the hub out to re-grease the fan bearing.
Though with that being said, this video shows what you should not do. If you're washing an Intel motherboard with an LGA socket, you MUST leave the CPU installed to protect the socket. He trashed the socket scraping a brush over it, you could see the mangled pins. This computer will never work again. The power supply also has to be disassembled to clean it, you can't just dunk the whole thing in.
It actually worked, as long as you let it dry
Did this to two motherboards, one died because too wet, another one is still usable
If it has become an antique, then what am I who was born in 2004 called?, while the computer is younger than me
怎可能水洗完不會壞 主機板就算吹乾了還是可能壞吧
It's so fake it hurts... If it was really drenched in water, then cleaned, the fan at 22:48 wouldn't be dusty. I'm pretty sure it was staged.
You measured with the measuring device, and on the back of the plates you had water .. !! Surprise that something didn't happen or to set fire to the house, that's all you are good at !!
I don´t buy it, as others have said, the computer worked just by ¨washing the mud off¨ and putting it back together? Notice he didn´t put new thermal paste in the CPU before putting the cooler back on. If it was working fine, why would someone just throw it away? Also, if he used the original HD, why would he have to re-install Windows upon boot up?
