Don't mourn, except for minor wins with Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks, Trek has been trashed for years.

Let's just hope that eventually they'll see that the current business plan is bad, then move forward with better projects.

I believe if they actually get better writing, as well as better outreach to actual community members.
We will get something presentable again, as I've said this on other threads, do I believe it's worth saying again. We can have differences as long as we embrace one another.
For example I like the Orville, with their diverse storytelling as well as humor moment's, bringing in dimensions to the stories, the series is a shakable start, though something that's at least presentable.
Key factors and presentable episodes have main characters such as captain mercer as well as crew show to stand up for what it's right even when no one supports you, risking everything including your career as well as your life.
This is also shown in a series known as the expanse, with them fighting for the right to accept people for who they are regardless of their origins or who they used to be.
We see how the people of Mars and Earth treat the beltors, I think that if we look at the way the world really is instead of the way certain groups want us to see the world.
We'll see ourselves as United not divided, we just need to look at ourselves, really see the truth, then move on to the better future.
That's why I follow Star Trek and other series that teach this, and the writing like Stargate, SG-1 as well as Atlantis, then the series Merlin that led to Atlantis that series didn't go off, however Disney's Atlantis was credible Leonard nimoy play in the role.
The main rule here is to have series that teach you something compelling that bring us together that focus on what unites us and what can you see in a similarities the beauty of culture life and the difference is that make us who we are. we shouldn't be perfect we should be imperfect because that's what makes humanity beautiful.

I would agree, as long as they focus on ideology over profit, as well as bad story writing for show boadingfor what they believe will be better fans they will lose every time until they realize perhaps they shouldn't be heading this direction.
Either way two shows that I enjoyed that were sci-fi based for the expanse until the last season it got weird, then the Oroville, that series has blossomed into something presentable.
With the current direction of most series it's nice to have a few gems amongst the monotonous that we've been getting lately.

Kurtzman is destroying star trek with his stupid idiot ideas for new series.
