- After 4 days in Las Vegas, a grand old time, and having a little bit too much fun I am back. Summerslam was an amazing time, I enjoyed the show but something really felt missing. It had a Wrestlemania-like feel but in my opinion, it didn't really deliver to the level it should have. WWE put an emphasis on moments rather than moving forward. The Bianca Belair situation was a wasted opportunity and the main event was a little bit less than expected.

Outside of Roman vs Cena and Edge vs Rollins and Lesnar returning, the show was so mid. It was sub-par at best and Bianca Belair getting buried to a returning Becky Lynch was what killed the overall mood for me.

Like if they were repeatedly in squash matches that they lost in or get put in a storyline that just makes fans lose interest and hate them completely, THEN, they would be considered buried

Lesnar's return overshadowed Becky's. What started off with pure excitement turned into anger, because she had been out for 18 months, and squashed the woman who had been hyped up as the future of the division.
It was an overall solid show though. I think people are being too negative about it, but it was definitely enjoyable to say the least. 8/10, but then again, that's just my opinion.
Totally agree. Im tired of people crying and whining that Bianca got "buried" by becky. No she didn't. I just loved when people could enjoy a show without crying on social media every 5 seconds.

Imagine being a 12 time champion in 6 years and your run averages 30 days. I mean 4 of her title reigns didn't last 3 weeks.
I took John cena about 8 years to become 12 time champion and it takes Charlotte about 6 years to become 12 time champion. It shows that Charlotte is more pushed than cena ever was. John cena at least had side feuds before getting back into the title picture, but Charlotte had none

Idc about the first half it was trash, second half starting with edge Rollins TURNT UP, the last 3 matches had a big fight field and Brock Lesnar returning was amazing, it was one of my fav ppvs
But second half had bad matches like gold Vs Bobby and Cena Vs Roman
First of gold Vs Bobby was very bad they did not have a proper match .
Second Cena and Roman was a good match but Cena literally took one spear and was dead.

CJ goldberg vs bobby wasn’t that mad. Yeah it wasn’t much but the story was ok with lashley destroying goldberg’s leg. The match was more character driven and I’d give it a 6/10 because of that alone.

well the US RAW Tag team and raw women’s championship matches were pretty good
At least I know I’m not the only one who felt underwhelmed by this ppv.
Edge vs seth Rollins was the best thing of the entire show. Overall, the event suffered because of Becky's horribly booked return, segments that weren't needed and the hype being removed from the main event(we all knew Roman isn't leaving wwe anytime soon). Props to edge and rollins for carrying the ppv.
Not to mention Cena Obviously cant perform in the ring anymore, idk what the purpose of this fued was To show how far roman came on the mic? A prelude to Brock returning? Idfk maybe they just dont know anyone on the active roster that can make a decent storyline with Reigns because of a lack of overall star power
Don’t get me wrong it was great to see Cena and the pops he was receiving were great but what was actually the point to sell tickets, to get Roman over. To be honest I didn't mind this happening but the question still remains unanswered why???

The main event was 100% predictable and CM Punk’s return overshadowed SummerSlam. Thankfully, Edge vs. Rollins & Brock Lesnar saved the show

To me SummerSlam isn’t a PPV I’ll go back and watch. To me it was a 4/10 matches felt quick and rushed. WWE built a new star in Bianca for the past year just to make her lose in 27 seconds to a terrible rock bottom. Only thing that came out of SummerSlam was Rollins vs Edge and Roman vs Cena and Lesner returning.

I still remember my first WWE match that is John Cena vs umanga in 2007 after that match I felt love in Cena and wwe
As somebody who hasn’t watched WWE in at least half a decade I had fun with some of the matches. The Damian Priest match was really good, the Mysterios vs the USOs was a massive wave of nostalgia and it was so crazy to see Rey do the carried DDT again, the Rollins vs Edge match was awesome-Pat Mcafee is one *HELL* of an announcer. Becky Lynch returned but I missed basically her whole career so I didn’t get too much from that-which made it even more of a dud when she just squashed Bianca Belair who based on the videos and stuff they showed warier seemed like she was on top of the World, and then boom squashed. I mean, it was a good move and all by Becky but it felt like that shoulda been a “barely kick-out” typa thing. But the crowd seemed to like it tho. After Charlotte won the title I took a look at how many she won, thinking it’d probably be something like 5, 7 tops. Come to find out she’s a fucking *TWELVE TIME CHAMPION.* Like I get that her dad is Ric Flair and that makes it inevitable she’ll break his record one day in the women’s division-but why would it be so soon? Idk, that really threw me off. The Seth be Edge Rollins match was *AMAZING,* but once Goldberg came back out I turned off the phone. I mean…I would’ve loved this 15 years ago, but at this point nobody wanted to see Goldberg. And that’s coming from me, who’s only heard of the terrible match he had with the Undertaker.
Not worth the hype but damn full of surprises the only match that steal the show is edge vs Rollins
Well... The Mysterios and Usus have clashed for like 12 times this year already, the women are still not handled seriously, Reigns vs. Cena had no thrill as the winner wa obvious, Goldberg is boring and is getting worse.
Edge vs. Rollins was the only match that not only felt professional, but also was competent and had an unclear ending at the same time.
man, seeing John Cena on my TV again was awesome.the main event was really good with some good near falls. I popped hard when Brock Lesnar return and hugged my brother in excitement. Edge and Seth killed it! (in a good way). can't say the same with majority of the matches they were decent to say. US championship match was solid. women's stuff was just...bad..happy that Becky was back but the ending was bad. and just alot of filler matches and moments that made me cringe. but overall a decent show

If you'd watched the show sitting home without sitting in the stadium for 3-4 hrs before the show! The show was awesome! You're the only unliking it!! I watch all the videos here on this channel but truly summerslam was pretty solid!
Possibly the greatest PPV of the new era. 2 amazing returns, edge vs Rollins stole the show, new champions and an unforgettable main event with the tribal chief and the G.O.A.T Cena. I might have woken up from 3am to 7am but it was all worth it. Amazing!

Brock and Becky were booked to come back weeks or even months before Punk debuted on AEW. AEW fans who say that WWE did this to counter AEW are just plain wrong and don't want to use logic and evidence.

The last years WWE proved that the best things happen in the normal shows (Monday and Friday). Main events are just a cliche after another to book seats. Although Roman vs Cena and Brock were the highlights, I would prefer Sheamus to be the US champ

I know it wasn’t a marquee match, but them not putting USO’s Vs. Mysterios in a ladder match was absolutely criminal. We had already seen them in regular matches plenty of times. Plus the ladder match Rey and Eddie had back in 05…. That woulda been a cool story.

Dude it always happens, in both match between cena and reigns, reigns dominates in starting 3-4 minutes, then cena dominates from middle to last, and in last reigns still kicks out, and in last just in one spear, cena gets pinned, that's so stupid ending, both time they did same, if cena had to lose that match then they should make cena lose by submission (by fading) like they did with drew McIntyre

Call me crazy but one day wrestling fans are gonna have a referendum on the shitty quick title reigns. That sounds like you were never booked well. And in Kayfabe sounds like you got that ass whooped 13 times. Shawn Michaels never eating a Pin in the 90s, and Ric Flair holding world titles across Different companies means more than John Cena getting his ass whooped 14 times.
The main event felt like a main event delivered. It was awesome.
I am really looking forward to the rematch of Seth vs edge hopefully in a ER match cause their SS match was special

it has been reported that it was a Vince and Becky call.
As in the match was a Vince's call but the heel turn was Becky's idea.
Due to Becky wanting to be the "Top Heel going forward".
I don't how it's going to play out as in, is it going to be a proper heel turn or is it going to be a Summerslam 2018 "heel turn"?.
Just like with Steve Austin I think Becky Turing heel will only kill her character as she was a badass when she was a face.
This pay per view was average and just proves WWE's problems and why AEW I'd gonna keep snatching they're fans and wrestlers,BTW my favourite video on your channel bro👍

During the womens match of alexa and Eva I went to the title belts and bought the edge title replica and I sat threw edge vs Seth and at the end I held my title high in the sky

The programs and matches aren’t the issue it’s the booking and finish. It seems like every world title match or main event has to end with some sort of twist/cliffhanger (Lynch, Lesnar) just to compete with AEW ratings.
Pros: Becky returned, women’s triple threat was good, edge vs Rollins was amazing, lesnar returned. Cons: how Becky won , predictable main event, lesnar should have returned after the Bobby lashley match, Eva marie vs bliss

I think SummerSlam was a great show every WWE event have some matches you don't care about and some you are hyped for and SummerSlam i think was one of the best PPV in recent times it was a great show especially for a Saturday night 😆 if you get thi 😂😂

Believe or not Cena vs Roman was legendary. But Lesnar overshadowed it.
Below par their performance was so poor edge vs seth should have been the main invent they put on a classic match there with excellent story telling
