This was a fascinating explanation of how people receive feedback and learn how to pick. I had not heard of the name for the sensory learning of muscle memory and spatial awareness that you spoke of even though I too learn in this way along with being able to visualize quite well. I use both methods but mostly the muscle sensory when picking. I need to consciously remind myself to visualize the lock instead of just relying on the sensory muscle spatial awareness. I am currently learning purple belt locks and I am finding that being able to visualize what my pick is doing inside the lock instead of just relying on the sensory and spatial awareness is very helpful. Thanks for doing this video, I enjoy hearing how other people with disabilities can modify and adapt to be able to do locksport. Congratulations on your application for black belt. Cheers

Good morning Marson. This is an excellent video and explanation. Personally, I can visualize the internals if I close my eyes and concentrate. Other times, it is fluid and effortless. This video reminds me there are different perspectives and we all do our thing to meet on common ground and understanding of things. The locksport community is vast and varied.
