At 3:13, his expression was just pure joy when he heard you speak just a simple few words in their language.
"I hate taking things for free, especially when I'm reviewing them. It doesn't seem honest." Clearly, Karl is not an entitled influencer. Kudos to him (and to the kind folks who extend free food to him in the sake of friendliness!).
This video really shows a love of a beautiful country, Pakistan, with it's lovely people. A very good tourist information video.
Thanks Sally. Yup, I've never done a sponsored post or brand deal too. It's not honest if you're being paid to review or promote something.

I live in 🇺🇸 and the only food I can't forget from when I last visited Pakistan almost 10 yrs ago is the STREET FOOD. It will have your whole digestive system messed up for weeks lol but it's sooo good especially the samosas!
As a Pakistani, I can confirm that street food tastes out of this world, but due to a lack of hygine, almost everything you eat would get you sick lol
Diariahyuk ! Not wortshit!
Diarrea! Yuky!
I'd love to try this samosas but I live in india
Use Imodium 🤣 and eat anything
They are just taking "Athidhi devo bhavo" to treat guests like God more seriously than we Indians do i guess. The hospitality in every video in every city is so beautiful. Took away all the doubts and impressions of Pakistani people i had all these years. Love to all Pakistanis from India, hope you all remain as warm as you are. PS pls fellow Indians do not bring geopolitics, religion, etc into our human relationships and perceptions.
Thanks for your kind words... Respect from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Allah has taught us to treat our guests like how we want to be treated and with kindness
Well said!
The important thing is to seperate the government from the people. The problem is between the Indian and Pakistani government. People across borders are the same on both sides.
Yeah we have similar concept in islam. Guest is considered an angel of good will so we welcome them

In Pakistani culture🇵🇰🤩, it is customary for diners to eat with their hands, that was surprise for me to know that, what should be the reason??🗺️huge world and always things to learn
More like south asian culture
Its no necessary at all
It's the done thing in this part of the world. Same is true in Middle east, Africa, South Asia. Restaurants will always have utensils, but some foods are just easier eaten by hand. You can't really scoop curry into bread using a knife and fork. Mind you I've always prefered to use a spoon for rice, rather than my hands. I also find the use of a fork for rice equally odd. It's just easier to shovel with a spoon. Don't even get me started on chopsticks. I envy anyone who can master them.
@@Shakeel_._Ahmed i think they make rice sticky that's why they are able to eat with chopsticks🤔

The samosas look delicious! I am glad people treat you, people in Pakistan are very very hospitable. So glad that your experience about Pakistan has been so positive. You are a true traveler. Welcome aboard!
Wow, that naan was almost like a pizza. It looked delicious. Also I can't believe how friendly and generous the Pakistani people are. They are so respectful and generous. In India you are constantly harassed and sold shit in a box disguised as gold. The contrast in culture is insane. I think if I want to visit the Indian subcontinent, I will go to Pakistan instead.
Edit: This is very insulting to the good people of India, for which I apologise for the offense. Leaving it here to admit my mistake.
It varies from people to people , u can't judge a country on a few people u have seen ;-;
@@8QRD_GAMING69 You're correct mate, very bigoted of me to say. Sincerely thank you for pointing out my bigotry in a nice manner. It's borderline racist, I can be better than that.

They look a lot better than the somosas I get at the local farmers market (south of SF).

Faisalabad was re-named after King Faisal of Saudi Arabia upon his assassination. The old name was Lyallpur named after Sir James Broadwood Lyall who was a British officer and the founder of the city.
My mouth was watering while watching this video😃😃

Not good for people that r fasting. Lol
You are so cool!! I'm still in love with your content and that awesome hat.Never saw anything like it!!!! Love and respect Tamsen Robert's in Riverside Cali
Karl , i have read many accounts of samosas being one of the most notorious foods for getting "Dehli belly" is that true? Have you ever encountered or heard about this?
If yes, what should travellers pay attention to when buying samosas especially from street vendors?
This was the first time i had seen Samosas presented like an actually meal on a plate .
Phew .. im glad they are selling rat poison and not cooked rat 🤣 (yes i watched the video from North East regions of India 🤣) i enjoyed this video .that naan looked liked what we have as a bread pizza where the ingredients are fried into the bread instead of toppings on the bread .interesting.
Have a fantastic day bro .😀
Street food Golden rule : only eat if its cooked fresh in front of you. Ask street vendors to make you a fresh one, it only takes 2 mins to fry a samosa.
@@mg6240 thanks for information 👍
Hey Stefan! Vegetarian food that's freshly cooked and served piping hot is generally ok. They fried the life out of those samosas. Heat generally kills bad things in food. I've not had any issues with samosas for that reason. Bigger risks are the water used in the chutneys, if the person who plated the food has clean hands, if the plates/utensils were cleaned with dirty water or not. But I didn't have any issues in Faisalabad and in the next video you'll see me drinking a ton of drinks from the street.
@@KarlRock thanks Karl . I actually never even thought that it could be because of the chutney that usually accompanies a samosa. I learnt something new today .extremely useful advice. 👍👍👍👍👍
