Gotta love those floating type docks/piers. I had to watch this on my phone so it was kind of hard to tell if the photos came out.the way you wanted, but the 4 second exposure looked great. Great usage of PhotoPills! Great video always Jim!
Blurry photos and not what I envisioned. Too long after Blue hour so I missed the details in the lighthouse and the sky. But… another Blue hour full moon is happening again soon!
If this is a failure, I have a hard drive full of them :) 2nd and the rest of them look great. Attitude is great....you win some, you loose some, but you keep taking photos!
Good vlog Jim, shame you didn't quite get the shot as you envisaged but still an interesting image anyway. I don't mind a mix of film and digital on the channel, it's all photography.
Always check your vids to see if it is a film episode. When it's not, I don't continue to watch. I know it is about the art and not the gear. I just don't want to watch yet another digital photography video. I really enjoyed your past videos when shooting film.
Sorry you don’t enjoy the digital captures. What is it about film that interests you? The organic process? The vintage or manual gear? The limitations of post-process editing? I have been thinking of doing some videos on Fujifilm’s film simulations. I find that shooting jpeg with a programmed film sim, gives me the same constraints of shooting film, without the chemical processing. P.s. I do have a Mamiya C220 video in production, the film is currently in transit to the lab. 📬
Maybe not what you were going for, but you still got some interesting shots!
Thank you. I’ll keep trying until I get what I envision.

Thanks, Paul. I’ll keep trying this spot until I get what I’m envisioning.
Fabulous! Great shots with the huge moon by the light house! Not sure why you called it a failure? 🤔

I have suffered from bouncey jetties on a number of occasions 🤣
“Bouncy jetties…” 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks, Andrew. 😁
