Distortion, scratches?
@@CC-nd2qu i have this installed on my model 3 since Oct 2021... tons of swirl marks ... trying everything to get rid of the swirls... nothing works, my buddy had his removed due to the distortion, it made him nauseated when driving his 3... the dynoflex windshield protection film does not self heal when using hot water because it is TPU based vs exoshield which more like a thicker ppf and it self heals...
@@leo76dragon22 I just had it installed yesterday. Did a quick day and night drive. There is definitely some distortion, esp when reading road signs. I wouldn’t say a lot though. But I’m a bit worried having heard multiple comments such as these. But the alternative is getting a rock chip and having to rip out the factory seals on my expensive car.
@@CC-nd2qu it definitely has saved our windshield 3x already, some rocks have already take some chunks out of the film, but if we didnt have the film, we'd be on our 4th windshield... I was almost going to install it on my Model Y, but I just decided to lower my insurance comprehensive to $0 instead of $500 like before... I just dont want to deal with the swirls... exoshield is still on my radar tho... looking for more long term reviews and tips on maintenance cause Im doin something wrong with the dynoflex on my 3...
