Paul came to do some work for them and they just kept finding more stuff for him to do. They just asked him if he wanted a full time job. Bethany came in part time but by now they are definitely considered family.
Paul and Bethany are such a blessing. It’s nice to see that they feel more comfortable being filmed.
They deserve all the credit they can get.
Watching them spread the mulch feels like a painting being created.
The landscape looks so different with a fresh layer of fine mulch.
I know this is Paul and Bethany’s job, but their attention to detail is wonderful! They even put a tarp under the bucket so the compost doesn’t fall on the gravel nor is it wasted. I’m sure it is a comfort to you and Aaron, knowing that they will give the same level of attention that you do! 😍

I’ve heard that in Japanese gardens they plant trees crooked on purpose because in nature some trees are crooked, so the pine leaning a bit is just more natural!

Natural and not contrived is exactly the conversation I just had with my landscaper. We have a plan. I want my areas to appear naturally-occurring and not man-made landscaper planned. :-) The only thing I'm missing is that pond! :-)

Laura, here's a suggestion to cover the air conditioning units. Use white PVC lattice, it would match the lattice on your house, leave room for air flow and best of all, you just hose it down with the hose to clean it. Make a three sided box to cover each unit. Hope this helps! I'm loving all the new plants. Cheers from Canada

The pond is looking great . Having some sea turtles statues or crane statues by the pond would be pleasant to have. Looking forward to those garden tours once everything blooms.
No shade meant. In fact I find it very comforting that I’m not alone in this, but how many different things have you tried in the space behind the boxwood hedge. I have a few spaces like that and where either nothing grows well, or I hate what I plant.
You have given me the courage to remove things that aren’t quite right and my space looks better for it.
Beautiful. I have rocks around my flowerbeds. It looks great when I lift them all up back to the top of the dirt and put out mulch. Let the kids have a fairy garden on/around the stump.
