Which the whole point of the Panda always was, funky looking, affordable, no nonsense car. I wonder if they're gonna release AWD version and if it's going to be as good as the ICE in off-roading or it's going to be just a commuter car.
@@ristekostadinov2820 Max torque at low rpm, simple vehicle with small dimensions and no ICE to get waterlocked means this could be a very capable off roader with not alot of modification, in my opinion. The 4x4 Panda always punched above its weight and this could continue in the same way.
Having the cable fixed to the car is such a brilliant idea, and kind of obvious one after seeing it. I don't know why other cars haven't done it before
That charge cable is brilliant. I wonder why luxury brands just dont give a damn about the customer and let you mess with a dirty wet cable which you need to connect every day. Thanks Fiat for innovating
I had an original MK1 Panda back in....well, whenever it was. It was utterly brilliant and did EXACTLY what it was designed to do, very well. Had one of the later models too, also excellent. Even today the Panda is still the best selling car in Italy. This looks like it will continue the success story. Love it. Nice review too.
In Italy they still sell the "old" 3.69 meters long Fiat Panda, but they have updated it with the latest ADAS, a digital cockpit and a touchscreen radio and they renamed it "Pandina" (literally "little panda") to distinguish it from the Grande Panda, in order to satisfy those who want the smaller panda but also those who want the larger one.

Same platform as the EV that we bought, . . . the ë-C3 Max. Same battery, some engine and about the same size, same screen and same buttons and gear selector. Guess the chairs and suspension of the C3 will be better. Probably the same price range.
The ec3 is cheaper, but the fiat looks much better and has better infotainment systems, also has recycled materials. Decently different for cars based on the same platform
That’s the nicest Fiat I’ve seen in years. Could be a Hyundai. And since Hyundai and Kia these days are so good, that’s means a lot. Pity about the rear legroom though … it seems to be the Stellantis blight! What a contrast in style with the revolting new Ford Capri!
I used to sell Fiats in the 90s and had the unstoppable panda 4x4. Most fun I ever have in a small car, it could go anywhere. There is more room in the back of the new one than there is in my Vauxhall Nokia e

The cable thing is brilliant, having to mess around with my charging cable is the most annoying thing of my EV experience so far. I had thought of a similar solution but with a spring loaded drum like some garden hoses.

A proper car sized EV with decent specifications and pleasant styling back to simpler times. Looking forward to the drive reviews and to take one for a spin myself. I have an SUV and honestly regret it 90% of the times I drive.

Truly surprised about this, I had almost given up hope that FIAT would make anything other than a re-badge of another Stelatntis model, but this really is quite a charming and attractive little car, it is back on my list!
It is not a mere badge engineering, yet still a platform play (e-C3). Same for the two more bodystyles, an Aircross/Frontera long-wheel base (7-seater as ICE), a Citroën Basalt like SUV Coupé.

Not bad at all and it’s mileage is certainly a step up when you compare it to the Dacia you drove a short while ago. True, the Panda is more expensive (though still reasonably priced for an EV) but faced with the Dacia or the Fiat, I’d deffo choose the Fiat.

Good preview of this nice Fiat Grande Panda. Love this Italian design better than the e-C3. Never before have I seen Nicola so enthusiastic about a new car and hopefully about to drive it soon.
A good overall car. Personally I would have loved the old logo to be on the steering wheel too, and if they centered the fiat logo, and removed the panda on the doors. Then made the center console longer to fit up to the gear selector. Then raised the gear selector up to the buttons for ventilation selection. Could also make a foldable table on the center console to click into some holders on the entertainment system. Of course a little rearranged. And then I would choose black, red or gray exterior color. For interior a black one with red stitching would be crazy. Of course I know my changes sound huge but think of the possibility of the cabin. The car look good and remember this was a personal opinion and a idea I hope they include😁
Exactly the same length as a FIAT Multipla. Just needs two extra seats!! It does look very fetching though - more so than the Multipla.. Job well done.
I love it. Much better looking than any Tesla. And proper buttons for climate! Hopefully for radio as well. Nobody wants to use a touchscreen menu to adjust temp or volume.
Nice looking little car - waiting for ICE engine version (hopefully without terribly faulty 1.2 PureTech but something reliable, so that in 30 years these cars will still be running fine, just like original Pandas drive around villages in Italy today)
YOu are out off luck,stelantis put that engine everywhere .And before Engine was only thing that was great on FIAT ,on my mother Fiat Punto 2 1.2 engine was 500 000 km when we sold it ,car was falling apart but engine was still like i just started
This chassis is the basis of the $25K Jeep EV currently being touted by Stellantis. Unless there's a change of plan, you will see a US version in Jeep clothing.

I used to love the old Fiat Panda and nearly always went for one when hiring a car. I genuinely like this one too but I still find it hard seeing 20K as a bargain basement price.
Great design it should be sold in the US with the right price you have winner. Unfortunately India took Fiat for granted so they miss out! Need to come to Australia with the right price surely will be a hit.
That the Citroën ë-C3 already. Build in the EU and same price range. Probably more luxurious ride and seats, but the Citroën has no front cable, and no frunk. For the rest, both have the same battery, engine, buttons, and about the sizes.
This looks like a great relaunch of a classic. Really enjoying seeing these smaller EVs emerging. However, would possibly go for the Dacia Spring and pocket the £5k saving. The Hyundai Inster also looking interesting, not too worry though as I’m not able to afford any of them! 😂
The Bam Box is made from Bamboo a nod to Henry Ford who made and ran an entire car made from Bamboo and was also fuel supplied from Bamboo. He was way ahead of his time producing a really green powered vehicle.

That front tethered cable is sheer genius. More cars should have that.
Definitely more convenient albeit costlier to replace should the cable break. But I don't know how often type 2 cables really need replacing.
