Needs more Isaac from Golden Sun. He would be like an Earth mage manipulating the stage and using zoning.
If Sakurai and his team doesn't be a dick about it and to the Golden Sun series that is, cause i see that there was lack of Golden Sun stuff in Smash 4 like there wasn't even an Golden Sun trophy and no Isaac mii costume and the only Golden Sun stuff that existed in Smash 4 was the music. I wonder how many people were pissed at Sakurai and his team that Golden Sun didn't get much love in Smash 4 which probably came off to a slap to a face to them.
Ash I want Isaac as well.
Looked him up, and I saw a lot of moves he could use. For example:
Up smash: Gaia
Down smash: Clay Spire or Quake
Neutral special: Helm Splitter/Skull Splitter
Up special: Megiddo or a modified Gaia series spell
For me this is how Isaac could work.
Smashes would be the Earth spells which upgrade the longer you hold them down. So holding them down for longer would increase their power and range but would cost speed. (Gaia would turn into Mother Gaia and eventually Grand Gaia for example. Same with Quake, Growth, Rockfall, Spire)
His jab could involve a sword. His tilts could be weaker psynergy spells.
His grab would be a giant psynergy hand which squeezes you like master hand and his throws would be based on different psynergy actions.
Up special would be retreat which acts like a teleport.
Neutral special would be a charged ragnarok which turns into odyssey
Side special would be a non-damaging psynergy push spell (like his assist trophy)
Down special would be growing vines or earth which impact the stage and how different characters can traverse across it or fight around it.
Alternatively he could use a djinn system where stacking djinn increases different stats and modifies his specials
His final smash would definitely be Judgement.
Also why stop at Isaac when we could also have Felix the protagonist of the sequel Lost Age (although maybe Isaac was still the main protagonist in that game also but you know). Two Golden Sun reps might be even better.

One idea I've had was Shadow the Hedgehog, playing as the Luigi to Sonic's Mario; similar, but with various differences both subtle and obvious. He could use some Chaos powers like Chaos Spear/Control, and maybe bring in some of the more cartooney arsenal from the same-titled game, like the Omochao Launcher for an explosive launcher, or the Vacuum Gun a la Villager's Pocket attack. For his Final Smash, he could go super, or show how destructive Chaos Blast TRULY IS!!!!

Your #4 is why I want Kiran. Kiran can give playable representation to FE character that would otherwise not get a character slot.
Someone else suggested using Kiran's gun as a Assist Trophy or Pokeball for FE characters, and, I gotta admit, it's not a terrible idea.
Kiran could also be a good choice for a Mii fighter type.
The thing is though, Kiran is not their own character, they're literally meant to be "you". Adding them in as a character would defeat the whole purpose of them.
RubhChi No, absolutely not actually. Corrin and Robin are customisable but they are their own characters with their own personality and a canon gender.
"Kiran" is literally supposed to be you. Everything they do, and everything that's said about them in game is a reference to you as a person doing it.

If we have the Eliwood, Lyn, and Hector be in at once, then the character to be in is Mark, who brings out and has them fight, being their tactician.

I mean, who would use anyone other than the Rektor?
StickFigure just like woth the Pokemon trainer each Lord would have yhere purpose, Lyn for chip damage and speed, Eliwood for Balance and taking hits, and Hector for KOs
Personally, my choices would be:
1) Sturm (Advance wars): A good oportunity to bring both a villain and a new franchise to the rooster. His moves would derivated from the units in the game (Using different vehicles and firearms) and his final smash from his OC power (Dropping a meteorite in the battlefield).
2) The Agents (Elite Beat Agents): These would the most unconventional fighters given the nature of their game. Mostly they would relay on summoning characters from the different segments of the videogame. They also have their own final smash, as can be seen in the final battle.
And now #3 and #2 make it in, You’re the luckiest smash fan on the face of the internet! You should be Proud of yourself!

I think your pitch for Simon is probably the most solid. unlikely because of the nuggets who own the game but certainly would be the most natural to play as.
Even the unlikeliest of things can happen, it would seem.
An additional note about the Riddly Mod, is his edge attacks actually change in response to more damage. If he's at 100, he gets longer intangibility frames and repeatedly stabs his tail up through the ground in front of the edge, a huge punish on any careless edge trappers.
Things like this fulfill the requirement to have a unique thing only that character can do. And he'd pose like Graninja with a crouch to lower his profile below the battle field platforms. They've already made a quadruped fighter called Ivisour.
I think that Gunvolt would be perfect for smash because it would bring new light to a really cool character

Twisted Wait when did Hector beat Lyn? Either way they’re both CYL winners so both of them are iconic to FE fans......I just think Lyn is slightly more since she has more special costumes in Heroes and was a classic character that actually made it into Fire Emblem Warriors.

The Blazing Sword trio is an interesting idea, but I feel like having Eliwood and Roy in the game would be a bit too much considering how similar they look
I always thought that making Eliwood an alternate costume for Roy, similar to Alph for Olimar, would be a cool idea and wouldn't be too hard to implement
I mean, Roy's and Eliwood's hair is the same but their outfit is different and you should also consider the fact that the Binding Blade glows red during all of Roy's attacks which Eliwood's sword will not.
Yes they are but red haired sword wielding characters but I, at least, can tell a Marth from a Lucina just fine so I don't think it'll be that hard to tell them apart. I think the prejudice from the fans against Eliwood because 'another FE rep, boo!' would be the biggest problem.
TheMetalBlade5, Roy already has a costume resembling Eliwood in Sm4sh.
Lingering Salt Eliwood wpuld be a weaker more damaging Roy, and having Lyn and Hector would work so well

Some of the ideas aren't great, but I can feel your passion for them! The main one that is just not a great idea is the FE7 Lord Trio. I mean, it IS kinda cool, but there is NO basis for character switching like that in any Fire Emblem game.

What you said about Lyn, Eliwood and Hector made me realize that Nintendo could have a pretty cool promo for them where the 3 lords are summoned through the Dragon's Gate and enter the fray! They immediately K.O. Corrin, given that s/he is a dragon, and the 3 lords all wield legendary dragon killing weapons.

Honestly, I really like how you decided to get two of the lords that everyone wanted in by making them one character. I would love to play as the Blazing Sword trio and it would give me the chance to finally play as Lyn. I really want Lyn in this game so bad. I have also not heard someone suggest putting them together and it would be a cool idea and they are very important to the international FE community since it was the first game we got. Lyn would be my top pick for a 1st party rep. Either her or an Advance Wars character like Andy or Jake which they should really do a reboot of the series or try to revive it like Fire Emblem since we have the switch now. I know they can do it. Golden Sun character of Issac or Felix would be neat to see as well.
As for a 3rd party character, since Nintendo is already worked with Capcom in the past, why not bring another Capcom character over. I would want to see Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil. It could make a lot of sense since there is going to be a RE2 remake and Leon is very popular and could fit Smash well since all the crazy feats he has done in the series. He also makes sense because originally RE4 was going to be a GameCube exclusive back in the day and that has become such a well received game. I wouldn’t be surprised if that makes it to the switch some day as well.
For a villain, I think a Kirby villain would be good. I would like to see a Dark matter type of character since they can morph or possess into different things and they can look very menacing and creepy. Marx seems to be a popular villain from the series as well that they could try to add and since Sakurai created Kirby there always would seem to be a chance for another rep. I could also see a villain from Kid Icaras coming along like Hades or Viridi. It says she is listed as a villain anyway I haven’t played the game though.
Also, if I could pick a returning character, we need to bring back the Ice Climbers. Just saying.
If there was one item I could pick, it would be the Breidablik so we could summon different Fire Emblem characters.
If I could pick a stage, that is a tuff one. I am always up for more Fire Emblem representation, but if we did somehow get Leon I would want to see a stage based around the ganado village from RE4 or Raccoon City from RE2. An Advance Wars themed stage could be neat as well seeing all the units fighting in the background or maybe it could take place in a HQ.
I would love to have Smash Run come back or something similar to it, but make it so we interact and can fight the other players instead of being on our own maps.

Ridley... I'm not feeling it tbh. I would love to see just one of the Blazing trio, mostly Lyn. Another Fire Emblem character I would be one of these Azura, Kagero, Hinoka, Charlotte or Camilla. Others I would love to see are Dixie Kong, Krystal from Star Fox, not letting that go she would be perfect! as for WAY out of left field, Commander Shepard or Thane from Mass Effect, I was going to say Liara, but then I remembered, no melee attacks seen.

I love the challenger approaching theme at the beginning. When I first heard it in Melee I was like "Oh yeah! It's on!"
Also, Crash can have guest appearances in his victory pose, like Chrom with Robbin or the pig with toon link. Show some furry girlfriend action with Crash's girlfriend who was dropped from the series for creepy human features.
Also, Dixi Kong is also female furry, and one who doesn't wear pants at that. (Lol, I'm joking, you can selectively identify these characters as non furry anthros.)
If this pattern keeps up, then that FE trio is going to be revealed at the next Nintendo Direct.

I'd imagine that Travis could use a side special to grapple enemies and use any of his various throws (in which some can be more effective against certain opponents, like heavyweights, but weaker against others).

Ridley in Smash...HELL YES PLEASE!!!
Ridley has been one of my favorite bosses to fight against in the friggin' Metroid series. While I like Dark Samus and I really don't want her to be a clone character (Looking at you Lucina, Dark Pit, and Dr. Mario), Ridley is personally the one Metroid character I want to see in Smash Bros so badly.
And if people say Ridley is too big? All I can say is this, Metal Face from Xenoblade Chronicles is too big for smash.
If the blazing trio made it in Smash, and you mention the pokemon trainer in brawl, that means the one who do the switching is none other than the Blazing tactician himself :D
What's even more over the top is that if that happens, I would love to see Mark having codec dialogues like Pit and Snake lol

What i really want for Smash Switch is Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia. But i can see that's nothing more then just a dream now but i will say this though. If they add Isaac from Golden Sun or Lyn from Fire Emblem or both (hopefully) then it would be close enough for me.
Isaiah Rivers Seeing as how Namco is still Co-Developing this game,I still think Lloyd or another Tales Protagonist (Specifically Yuri as ToV might be getting rereleased) would have a good chance of being a fighter.

casey helm I want to see Prowler, as it is a defining feature of the switch MH game, and it has all the charm of Monster Hunter packed into one uniform set.
That would be a very cool idea, even since we don't have too many small fighters. And since we know Capcom has a 3rd party relation with Smash (i.e. Megaman), it is reasonable to have SOMETHING Monster Hunter related as a new fighter.

a crazy idea i have for a candidate for smash would be blanc (also known as white heart) from the game series hyperdimension neptunia. the primary reason why is her inspiration since she in her game is actually the human personification of nintendo itself.
in order to explain myself just know that hyperdimension neptunia is a personification of the console wars where four goddesses representing the consoles of nintendo xbox playstation and sega over shares the power source for the goddesses (as how shares power the game company). and blanc rules over the land of lewii as its goddess.
I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo would consider Ridley's Project M design as "too small". After all, they specifically said that shrinking him would be one of the many necessary edits to make him playable that would make Ridley not be truly himself anymore.
Sorry to pop your bubble, but the only way for Ridley to ever become playable in Smash would be if Sakurai decided to allow giant playable characters (which would give Petey Piranha and a few Manakete a shot at being playable in Smash).

I do like the majority of these choices. Blazing Trio would probably be my new main if it existed (after all, Pokemon Trainer was my Brawl main and Robin is my Smash 4 main), even in spite of how unlikely it is.
If Simon Belmont does become playable, I really hope he'd get a Julius alt. And K. Rool has been my most wanted character since the countdown to Brawl.

7:32 Blazing Sword Trio as switching characters? Brilliant!!! As the characters responsible for Fire Emblem gaining it's initial traction in western Markets they deserve representation, and they can play together as a well round team with individual strengths and abilities just like in the Fire Emblem Games! Not to mention, with how much of money maker Lyndis is in FE heroes, we know that she at least has the star power to make people buy the game (in the unlikely event they weren't planning to already). Heck the day the announced that Lyndis was going to be in Fire Emblem Warriors was the day I preordered said game.
Ive also thought of a pokemon-trainer-esk FE7 trio, and i would definitely main all three of them. Even eliwood.

For me there a lot of characters I want but they a main 7 I want, fawful (Mario and luigi),bandana waddle dee(kirby)mimikyu (pokemon)azura(fire_emblem) shantae, tails (sonic) and sora(kingdom_heart). Great video and can't wait for e3
I mean, personally, I have a few I would like to see. I would like to see Ephraim, since a good lance user would do wonders for the game, and we could have memorable reskins of him, like Azura with water effects instead of fire effects, or Lukas with wind effects. Someone like that, who has one move set but different looks for various FE characters. But Ephraim alone would be fine.
I also wouldn't mind seeing Isaac from Golden Sun, since he is already an assist, I want more, and his move set would be super cool.
Mark from Harvest Moon would be an interesting fighter, since his palette swaps could be all the farmers from around the franchise, and his move set would actually be exciting. I mean, sure, villager has seeds, then watering can, then axe... But mark has seeds, watering can, axe, hammer, hoe, sickle, and a... Fishing rod, do I hear tether recovery? His recovery could be something like a tether with the rod or something silly with chickens and such. His farm friends could be a good touch, and all the partners, harvest sprites, witches (bleh, that chick. DS Harvest Moon's biggest mistake, that good looking witch) and goddesses could be a nice touch.
Minecraft is on the switch, new 3DS, and WiiU... I mean, why not?
I would quite enjoy Gilgamesh from The Tower of Druaga. I know someone made a dumb anime of it, but the original game was actually pretty fun, and had potential.
I feel an FE myrmidon or assassin could be fun. Joshua ahoy?

Last, I think some of the iconic enemies from the Mario and Luigi games could be fun, like Cackletta, that weird thing from the first one, and Fawful. Some nice OG villains.
I really want the hunter from monster hunter be on smash, honestly with the much awaited release of doublecross (now cross generations) on the switch. Now is the time to show the true power of the hunter.

For the lord trio's final Smash, you could have them summon an Ice Dragon or two, you know, just because Ice Dragons are Ice Dragons and toootally not for any other reason...

With Ridley, I hope they either shrink him and make him balanced a la Project M, or make him the OP “joke” character who is gigantic and absolutely broken.
My #1 for now is: Shovel Knight. I’ll bet he was one of the biggest contenders in the Smash Ballot, and if you want to see why, play the game and then comment.
