Better to make the loop too long to repeat in a fight than a loop too short that it repeats multiple times in a minute and you get sick of it after 2 fights.

Probably the best main battle theme in the franchise. Too bad the best parts come well after you've smoked everything and ended the battle. That second half of the loop is absolutely incredible.
If you never played any of the Tales of games this one is a good starting point tbh. The older ones have a harder time to get used to because of the rather sluggish combat sometimes (prior to Xillia or Graces)

It downplays the party’s own choices and actions, like how Dohalim, who never met Zephyr, laid the foundation for Renan-Dahnan coexistence after the lords were defeated.
He left for Alphen and others...it must be the "great" hint to make true peace, and it is also beyond description. At least even though he only appeared for short time of the story, he had a clearly aura, although he did not save two races with his own hands, Zephyr is the start of this story, and the unsung hero...
Tbh the really only effective arte for alphen was reigning slash since it was deal a lot of dmg.even the blazing sword arte for that skill (incineration wave) was the best one compared to other (atleast in my case,only tied with explosive ring)
I had a problem with this song first time around because you could be fighting the weakest weirdest littlest enemy and it would come out full force but listening it not ingame makes it better

I just realized the composer is Motoi Sakuraba, the same one for Golden Sun. It's probably why 2:00 sounds familiar to me
Motoi Sakuraba does the music for most of the Tales games.
You can literally just swap this theme into star ocean and it will still work.
