When I first heard this theme I immediately felt the similarity with the music "Watch your step!" from Breath of Fire IV. Not just the "vibe" of the music, but there are some lines that are extremely close to each other, it's so similar that I tend to believe that this is a homage to that game... If that's the case, I'm so happy, I love Breath of Fire IV...

Ah Berseria such a great game very few complainants about it. Oh uh Zestiria is there too please leave. Poor Zesty completely outdone by its younger sister in every conceivable way. Heck they even used Zestiria’s Zavied about a thousand times better than zesty could. Tales of Zestiria the X is the canon ending of this timeline for me

The great thing about Tales games is, that they deconstruct certain tropes. ToA deconstructed the trope of a society that is run on “Might makes Right.” It shows how such a society would be deeply dysfunctional. The Renans could of crushed Alphens rebellion with ease, but their unwillingness to work together, as asking for help would be viewed as weakness, doomed them.

This OST is my favourite in the game. There so many influences from other games. Above all dark souls 2 (the composer is the same) with OSTs like Fire Keepers or King Vendrick theme. But you can clearly hear Assassin's Creed 2 Dreams of Venice and Amusement Park from Nier: automata. Also, the piano version of Lunafreya's Theme from FFXV. God, I love this OST 😂

The composer done a really great job with this track.

If anyone would share that musical passage, I would be extremely grateful. It was a pity that it was not recorded at the beginning. The conversation between Orphen and the magician was very touching and made me want to cry. This scene was so beautiful.
