Felt genuinely bad for Pompey tbh. He was a man of honor despite his appearance and I'm convinced he came across as taunting towards Caesar to spur her on for when she took the Overlord title.
Me too, the cutscene of him contorting into an ethereal was really disturbing to me, high quality of course, but he looked like he was in so much pain.

they just need a character now that have the Devil trigger mechanic and use both a sword and gun. Maybe in the future they may consider a playable character that is a Ethereal that regained their humanity so they can do some Ethereals May Cry memes.

If theories are right the main antagonist is maybe some kind of secret organization that created the Hollows and may see Ether as the key to creating their ideal Utopia. Thus seeing Humanoid Ethereals as the next stage of human evolution. Sacrifices maybe some kind of Super Soldier they created using Ether on people to spread Hollows. We know so far their favorite method of getting their plans done is the manipulation of corporations in New Eridu. Mostly the ones that are greedy.

This game is so awesome. This part was so beyond badass, and then what happens right after with Caesar, making Lucy cry... IT MADE ME CRY, a little... I know they wouldnt kill Caesar, but still seeing her come through the rift at the end was so relieving. I have fallen in love with this game.

Man was awesome in life and awesome as an ethereal, I mean are corrupted beings still alive? Dont know so many questions about corruption but clearly something of a person survives, the Ballerina twins were still together and still irritatingly graceful dancers , and pompey, well he literally got a speeder bike out of it, still Lucius dear boy, you made a big mistake and you will suffer for it, then again it was rather obvious since we were introduced to Lucius just what he is plotting even Pompey suspected something he just dismissed it because he thought that Lucius was loyal to the Vanquishers or that he was warned of after being caught, honestly I was surprised
Which makes me hope that in the future, we might get an Ethereal Agent but with their conciousness intact. From what I've noticed, Hollows either overwrite that person's personality (Red Fang Leader for example turned into a common enemy boss) or amplify the bad traits of that person to 11 which raises more questions about the nature of Hollows. Even more surprising is, how music seems to be the key aspect of each Hollow, even Fairy said "Whichever hollow you are in, sing it's song." which seems to imply some serious things we haven't uncovered yet.
