Love it or hate it, but it definitely sounds like what would be playing in the background when a brightly flashing mutant amalgam of three different construction machines fights a dudebro with an industrial drill and the brain of a 12 year old, an emotionally and physically stunted redhead with a gunhammer, a nailgun wielding software engineer with severe brain damage and a literal bear swinging a rocket-powered concrete pillar.
The vocals are a loop of the standard construction site music vocals but deeper. For me it feels like it represents the 3 machines who were absorbed and their final thoughts

As my first Hoyo game, the music is very fitting in this game, I love the electro/dubstep/dark clubbing music of this chapter and this is a good amalgamation of all the vibe they delivered during the whole chapter.

ZZZ may not be that remarkable for it's OST like the other Hoyoverse games but I really likes this theme, feels like the right amount of chaos to fight an unknown monster

They said that they are currently disassembling them and studying that creature, but it won't be fast.
Yeah, the 3 machines are 'dead', Grace said in her agent story that the prototype is the only construction bot they currently have, for now at least.
I think they said the AI cores were saved but their bodies need complete replacing.
