Really fun watching this video with dad, and family, sifting the Black sands of the Oregon beach! And even found gold! This is a golden video because the kids hold a lifelong golden memory of these times! Like me when I was a kid! Thank you for posting
Good times equals a Great shows 👌 This must be one of them. Plus next time the Family heads to the beach ⛱️ I'm bringing a sluice. Thanks for sharing. Tuolumne County Jefferson state signing out.
A hell of a lot of black sand. Good sign. Good, buddy, that you had the gold panning equipment with you. It all looked great. A little gold is gold too lol. I enjoyed it. 🤠👍🇩🇪🔨

I have always had my kids with me but now I am down to one teenager and she is getting less and less interested. I have to cherish the times I get while she is still in the house.

That's my favorite beach mining spot. I use an 8 ft x 5 in box with deep V matting and it works very well. Been to that spot lots of times and whiskey run beach alose between coos bay and bandon
There was a nice older man and it was his birthday, we talked and he directed me to that spot. Great spot not only for the gold but what a beautiful beach! Very cool that you know the spot!
I moved to Southern Oregon years ago and the State of Jeff was just a thought. Now, I am happy to see that The State of Jefferson could actually happen. It's closer now then it's ever been.
I'm really curious who got the contract to run that dredging operation, hopefully an American company. A *great* place to go is Nesika Beach! It's about another 20 mins north of where you were. Absolutely great gold everywhere!
@@jeffersonstategold8349 ooh, that makes me want to put it together right away! I have a 2 gallon bucket of black sands from an old Death Valley mine that they were pulling out 6000oz per ton from, back in the late 1800's. (Yes, I said 6000oz per ton!)
Nesika Beach, that area gets worked every year but still produces gold. You will see folks camp out and stay for weeks at a time during the winter as that's when the waves strip away the sands sometimes, sometimes it dumps more sand all depends on the storm and or amount of rain.
I doubt they did. They were filling up barges and dumping the tailings in the ocean about a 1/2 mile off shore. Should be some good beach mining there now!

Nice little video. Now get to work and move some major dirt! lol
Ha! Ha! Love it!
You’re doing everything this year. I was thinking about taking my gold cube to the beach and trying it out. Very 😎 👍👍
Just remember you can't use any motors at all on the Oregon beaches. I was lucky enough to find a small feeder stream that made it easy.

@@graveyardprospecting 🤣🤣 Well, when you put it that way! Ha! Ha!
At the spot hes at you can hang a bucket under the culvert where the water comes out and run a hose out of the bottom of it to your gold cube.
Wonderful Video. Amazing ❤

Thanks brother!
Its a dregs that opens up the mouth of the river so the fishing boats can get across the sand bar. I lived there 25 yeRs
It was pretty cool to see.
Is that the gold hog mini stream sluice
No, just a little sand sluice with carpet and expanded metal only.
Good gold mining video

We love it👍

I sure miss it
I enjoyed the beach mining and look forward to trying it again. Have a great day!

They'd be fools to not work the dredge tails.
