Great to see you ladies this morning! Jojo-I love my drawstring tote bag! Big enough for a summer knit and whatever else I need to take with me😁, pockets… truly perfect. Those beach totes would be great for blanket projects. Love that shawl with the different crux fibers!
It was wonderful to see you all back! Katie was missed for sure. I no longer can and put up veggies but my daughter does and generously shares! So WIN!!! I smock and sew plus all the knitting to keep busy.
The easiest way to peel garlic is to put it in a bowl of warm water and it makes it so easy to get the skin off. I have been packing to move, I am downsizing and have given away so much yarn, my daughter in law got twenty five large totes of yarn and I still have a lot of yarn. Goodwill is going to be overwhelmed with all the donations that I have donated. I have forty five years worth of stuff in my house to get rid of. I purchased the pattern for the Noni from Pip & Pin and am knitting it, I am on the ribbing for the neck and sleeves, then block it .
I just canned salsa, pickled okra, strawberry jam, and fig jam. Next weekend will be pickles. Then the weekend after that, we will head to South Carolina (I'm in North Carolina) and get some fresh peaches for peach jam and peach honey.
@@jessiebright9123 I'm gonna have to make some more strawberry jam. My boys (18 & 21) got into it and it's almost gone already. I'm so glad they love it. That was my first attempt at jam.
@@beckylawing 🤣🤣🤣 that's a good thing! We did 12 jars - 1 for each month. We may already be down to 7-8 cause my boys do the same thing (but they're 3 and 4!).
Those slipper socks are so cute! I’m hoping you’ll have that pattern for sale at some point. I used to do quite a bit of canning but don’t anymore. I just don’t think it pays anymore and it’s takes too much time and gets in the way of knitting!
I'm cracking up at your son's hairy onion question and asking all the questions! My youngest son is 7 and asks allll the questions and tells allll stories from the moment he wakes up until he goes to bed! Not an exaggeration! LOL!! Happy to see your smiling faces again!
So excited to see another episode after so long!❤ I have been canning green beans and pickles. Waiting for tomatoes to turn red so I can do pasta sauce. Also preserve dilly beans...have you ever pickled those?
Sarah: you need to look for the garlic peeling trick using two stainless steel bowls. It actually works pretty good if you have a lot of cloves to peel!
It’s not fall in Texas, it was 112 degrees Tuesday. Sarah the easy way to peel garlic is to put the heads of garlic into a mason jar with a lid and shake the garlic. All heads will separate.
Oh my goodness! My son is non-stop questions. When he was little it was cute. Now he’s 12 and I can’t even pretend to know the answers…what if gravity just stopped one day? What if someone hacked the remote of a battlebot? And on and on and on forever and ever.
So happy that you had a new episode up! Sarah-great designs! Jamie- love the socks, can’t wait to have that pattern released.

My son asked a lot of questions, too. Such a deep thinker. Encourage this. Love those totes and knits. Happy summer!

Mesh in the bottom would be cool so beach sand falls out!
Hi can smell the garlic. Lol

Hey Sarah rub your garlicky hands on your stainless steel sink and it takes away the smell.
