- I met Bobby Pulido Jr. a while back and we started talking about Barndominiums. He told me his brother in law was a big fan of Barndos and that he would like to see one some day because he liked the concept. We decided to give him a tour of this Barndominiums and see what he thought. This is Bobbys first time ever seeing a Barndominiums, so please come along for the tour. Enjoy!

How many sq feet has the house got?
Wow! What was the cost to build this particular barndominium? I take it is fully customized.
What was the price of this home??
They said that the owners of this home wanted a lot of the details to remain private so I don't think you're going to get a price or square footage out of them. Best bet is to show the video to a barndo builder in your area and they'll be able to give you a ballpark estimate and it is a simple design so they should be able to recreate it. That's what I'm going to do anyway.

I guess when its a 2 mile walk to the nearest wall it has a purpose , but unless hidden under a coffee table or the like it is a eye-sore . not my cup of tea but I guess better than a extention lead ..

Gorgeous! No complaints about tiny rooms! Nice layout. A porch that goes for miles!
Love this combination of woods, custom panels disguising the appliances, the mottled glass front doors on the cabinets, that range is beautiful!! So many great design details incorporated into something that appears simple on the outside - BAF are great!! Not sure about the glass doors around that tub ... I can see me being clumsy & busting those ... Like how Leroy patiently answered all questions!
Glass doors around the tub/showers are real pretty...UNTIL you have to Clean them Every Time you take a shower. 😝
Loving the extra detail and explanations in this video! I havent been in a barndo myself either and he asked a lot of the questions I would have asked.
The rain water collection tank is definitely on our want list now.
Noooow i know what y'all meant when you said that giant ceiling fan is big ass fan! I happened to stumble across the website just recently and decided to check it out bcuz it mentioned something about fans that can clean air! I didn't even know that even existed until i checked it out and watched the video on their website! I was like "whoa"! And then as they mentioned big ass fan showing that giant ceiling fan, i was like, "i've seen that somewhere before! Oh, on Texas Barndominiums"! And then it hit me, oooooooh Big Ass Fan!! Lol!

I love your barndos, this is a beautiful home. You have a first class product because you have a first class crew of people. I love the porch, you can sit outside during a rain storm and "never" get wet. Also, those kitchen 😋 cabinets, they are beautiful. I just adore the entire thing including the colors.

The echo would make it impossible to live there. It needs some soft surfaces to annuate the sounds. It's a very loud house.
Yeah, you need to put sound absorption on the walls and ceilings. No amount of furniture is going to tone that down enough.
@Matt P not much since it had beds and stuff already Best bet is when it’s being built install the newer elasto polymer sound deadener no more echo or noise transfer

I’d say it’s around $650 - 700k based of a an average square footage cost of $152 and the total space being 4500 sq foot. That is for the house itself, ur gonna spend a lot more looking for the lot and any other builds like a large garage for ur “toys”
650k could also be considered as the more premium version of a barndo as opposed to one that is more plain that costs more like 350k
u think its possible to buy a new barn and turn it into one of these?

I’m really thinking about building a barndo for my home. I would want to make a drive thru shop/garage, and to some extent would trade living room space for it. But this is a beautiful here me, and I think what I may use for inspiration for mine.
Especially living in Florida, that rain collection system is going to be a must. With hurricanes, if I lose power, I’d lose the pump for the well, but with that collection system, I’d be able to have water stored.
