Of all the barndominiums presented, I like this most. I love the color of the stained doors, trim, cabinets, and window sills, the rounded wall edges, and the impeccable concrete flooring.
@@TexasBarndominiums I watched this whole thing to get a look at the shop... How disappointing. Also no mention of price to build this vs a conventionally framed home.
@@TexasBarndominiums PEACE@TEXAS BARNDOMINS HOW MUCH IS THIS LOVELY HOME? WILL YOU PLEASE DO AN UPDATE AND SHOW THE WORKSHOP? COULD YOU HAVE A TUB INSTALLED?
How humble this guy seems he's avoiding showing this most likely because there is 1or 2 lifts possibly a oil change pit. But to impress average people and not intimidate he just discussed the size they had for a garage
Yeah I love it and so does my wife but both of us agree we wouldnt see much of each other. Her in the craft room and me in the shop. Awesome home. Job well done.
At the end of the video I notice the rocking chairs rocking in the background with no one in them. Of all the builds this style checks all my boxes, good job!
I like everything but the shelf brackets in the quilting room. They are bad enough in the pantry but they are pretty much hidden there. They stand out like a sore thumb in the quilting room. In the end, that's just my opinion and since I didn't write the check, it doesn't really matter. If the customer is happy, well done.
AWESOME! This is sorta what I've envisioned in my retirement. I want a totally open floor plan. No walls, except around the bed/bath. 20' ceiling with a loft, halfway (massive bedrooms upstairs), and a floating staircase (and an elevator, just in case).
Very well said about controlling humidity in a home like this and it seems you chose the right air conditioning system supply and return in every room I really like these homes very smart and well thought out fantastic job guys 👍
I like how the master bath (with double sinks) was long and nartow, with the shower closet behind it, with the clothes closet behind it, and then the laundry room behind it. Stacked!
Got to say that its a great looking build. I have been following your work for awhile. For anyone not familiar with this type of work I can tell you these people have more ideas and tricks to save you from expense in so many areas that I want get into.. I will say pay attention to sealing your home and this guy does it to perfection, well as close as you can get in my opinion.. Also, I will point out that he wants a clean build and I mean you better pick up after yourself as you build.. Shows pride and also less risk in hazards in the process of the build.. Some of you guys may not see that. There is real workmanship and pride with these guys.. I will use them if I get the money to build .
What a beautiful barndo! You do such excellent work! Your high standards, attention to detail and use of high grade materials really come together in the final product. What a lovely, lovely home. My husband was disappointed that you didn't show the "shop." This home would be our dream, and a shop would be his art studio.
Looks like you all did an excellent job putting the barndo together with the owners selections. I had a conversation the other day with one of your past concrete jobs and they had nothing but praise for you and your guys.
I have wanted to live in one of these for 15 years, long before chip and jo coined the term bardominium. Now it seems like it's more common. I always wanted one so I could roller skate in my house. I love skating! Now I have 4 kids and they could scooter around
Great build you and your team did! I used porcelain wood tiles in my house too with a dark charcoal grout to make it pop, its very low maintenance. That closet door light switch is a cool idea, I never saw those before.
I would put a fresh coat of wax on those tile to make them pop. Only other thing I would do different is stainless steel sinks, I think they would look better with the granite.
I also would have loved to see the shop. In a sense it is the focus of a home of this sort. Otherwise, wow, I truly enjoyed this.I'd love to have this type of home.
The stonework outside and the front door is gorgeous as is the woodwork inside, especially those built in bookshelves. Love those elements. Living in a commercial looking metal building though is an acquired taste.
Time is almost here brother Erik. We arrive in St. Antonio on the 25 of February 2020..... It is my dream to have a c Bardo just like this one Bardo 193. Hopefully we get to see you.
Robert Youngs I was thinking some type of lighting, sky lights would pose a maintenance issue for me. I don’t know if I would want the worry of future roof leaks
*HL Pace* Hey, be nice. I'm loaded, but no one, but no one gets to wash my damn car. A lot of us take pride in our vehicles and much prefer to wash them ourselves, instead of trusting such expensive machines to someone else. A breezeway like that would be fantastic to park my two motorcycles, boat and trailer, 7x4 box trailer and BBQ. Done, dusted, YeeHaa...
Just would like to say that you my friend have done very well very impressed on how great you speak English and you probably came from a hard place to live you really seem like a good man now if I'm wrong I'm very sorry now I would like to let y'all know that if we lived somewhat close to your company we would be getting one of your fantastic buildings thumbs up my friend
I thought everything was Gorgeous!! And I love the colors. I really wanted to see the shop as well. Maybe he will show that on another video. Absolutely beautiful!!
Okay, sooo....really liked the close up look and a little showing off of what you guys do very well. One suggestion is to do as I had seen in a previous video and overlay the basic floor plan while going through each area. That really helps out it all in perspective. I had to watch this twice. If you count rewinding then maybe 12 times. LOL
Great video. Love the design, nice traffic flow, separation of home and garage (I was thinking fumes). The open spaces, low maintenance, seemingly inexpensive (compared with conventional home), and quick build are appealing. Love the reuse of building materials. Gives the otherwise sterile commercial build a homey feel. Danny scared of the dark 😩
I liked 99% of what you did with this one. Truly outstanding! I thought the shower was on the claustrophobic side, otherwise everything else was super.
that breezeway is for the two cars. you have hail, sandstorms, windblow, and all kinds of damage probably not covered by your vehicle insurance. cover that equipment.
Of all the barndominiums presented, I like this most. I love the color of the stained doors, trim, cabinets, and window sills, the rounded wall edges, and the impeccable concrete flooring.
I watch the whole video waiting to see the shop . OH ! MAN !
It's probably a grow room... that way they can afford to make the payments.
Circulating pump for the hot water heater was awesome custom touch beautiful work gentlemen outstanding
Definitely a premium interior that proves "barndominiums" aren't just throw together homes. LOVE EM.
Very nice but a look at the shop area would had been the cherry on the sundae for me.
Sorry.
Thanks for watching.

But good call
Remember, this is someone's home and they may not want every inch of it shown. It's up to them, not Erik.
Watched the whole thing to the end just to see the shop and well no shop wommp wommpp!!

That automatic light in the closet was ingenious. Now you never have to worry about whether or not you left the light on after locking the kids in.
I AM absolutely drooling over this one. I am also a crafter would love that room. Love the Mexican sink. 🤗Just perfect!💜🎯🤗
Cleve, creative and beautiful. Bravo Texas Barndo!

They should have inverted them and hung the shelves from them.

One of the best barndominium‘s I’ve seen. Really like the stone in the master shower!
Love the homes. Wish you would show more of the “shops” and garages

Ok, im hooked. These are so much more nicer (in my opinion) than a conventional home. Great job.

Some great thinking incorporated into the design. Love the shower.
One word, SWEET. When I lived in South Texas Barndominiums were just starting out. My boss had one just outside of San Antonio and it was nice.
Wow! Absolutely fantastic! Wish you were in Missouri.

Lol, Chip and Jo didn’t coin the term “Barndominium”. Term has been used for a very long time.

Lookup Morton Homes. You can build those anywhere.
Am I the only one thinking that breezeway needs a floor drain so you can turn it into a car wash bay?
No your not.
Robert Youngs I was thinking some type of lighting, sky lights would pose a maintenance issue for me. I don’t know if I would want the worry of future roof leaks
I was thinking a couple rectangle chandeliers for parties/seafood boils, just shorten the chains to use as carport/animal wash area.
