Thank you for this video, I love it. BTW, did you hand pressed the main charge? I think the explosion would be more powerful if you use some melt-cast explosive. If you have no time making a metal liner, a glass funnel would preform well.
@@Playfulchemists No problem. Would you mind telling me which kind of explosive you were using? Edit: I read your comment and know that you are using 150g AN based explosive. AN based explosives are not suitable for shaped charges, in order to achieve high detonation velocity (about 4000~5000 m/s), AN based explosive must be pressed mechanically, and it would require a powerful booster charge to detonate it. On the other hand, the det velocity of PETN charges can reach 6000m/s more easily, if mixed with ETN/NG and melt-casted, the density of the charge can easily reach >1.6g/cc, and the det velocity can exceed 8000m/s. A couple of dozen grams of that can cause serious destruction. Only two grams of it can blow a >30cm wide crater on a hard dirt ground. Be careful when melt-casting ETN/NG, it's dangerous and must be treated with respect.
@@guytech7310 Yes, it did work. But it's not suitable to make shaped charges, low explosives require stiff casing to achieve moderate performance while melt-casted high explosives perform very well in only a small amount and only need a thin casing.

Thank you for your help my friend

Ammonium nitrate
@@劉樂山 FYI: ordnance lab (YT) did a Shape charge with AN & it worked. Its just not as effective using RDX or other high m/s compounds.

now: bomb
We waiting for more. Ty bro
Do you have the permission of the Operational Facts channel to copy their video and add music to the beginning and end?
My friend. Ethylene glycol dinitrate make a synthesis with a detailed description - percentage of acid, etc.
Ok my friend
Damn that look powerful and smoke like hand grenade😂
It was only 150 grams of ammonium nitrate :)
