UNC ORGANISES MASSIVE ‘NAGA PEOPLES RALLY’ IN MANIPUR

The United Naga Council (UNC), the apex body of the Nagas in Manipur state has organize a peace mass rally on August 9 in all Naga areas of Manipur for resolving the Indo-Naga political issue based on the Framework Agreement. The rally was held in Tamenglong Headquarters, Chandel Headquarters, Ukhrul Headquarters and Senapati Headquarters. More than 30,000 people participated in the rally. A memorandum was also submitted to the Prime minister of India by the United Naga Council in demand for the final settlement of the indo-Naga political issue with a sense of high urgency
