A person come and says to send Rs 1000 to receive Rs 2000 and you do that without thinking, then you are saying that fraud happened. Did this fraud really happen due to tech? No it happens because of your lack of knowledge. There are many examples. A person calls and says you won a lucky draw. I am sending you a qr code on whatsapp, scan that and enter the pin you will receive your money. You scan the qr code. Their clearly written comes in our screen that you are paying this much to this person then also you go ahead like an illiterate and after that you enter your pin. And then you say that fraud happened due to tech. By this logic, someday you are in market and a person comes to you and says give me 1000 Rs and stay here I will give you 1000 Rs in few minutes. The bias from western media is reflected in the shoot locations and the pictures they portray in the entire video piece. I'm Indian residing in the US and trust me, Zelle and Venmo are way behind UPI. It'd would take at least 3-5 years from now for Zelle to reach the transactional capacity at which UPI operates today.
