Thanks you for your efforts ... Cuenca is a very beautiful city . With rivers running through added to it’s old colonial feel , this city is indeed symbolism of life.
@@goexploreecuador This type of content is excellent .... crispy videography depicting a vivid description of life . I’m beginning to be jealous of you guys . Hahaha ... thanks
This seems to be a very charming city, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
I just saw your message! Talk about a delayed response... Puertas del Sol is in the area of the 12 minute mark. It continues up river. In the video we cross a bridge and leave Puertas del Sol, but if you continued up river, you would be in the Puertas del Sol area until the next bridge.

What a peaceful setting. Bring a chair or simply sit on the lawn. Take in the serenity of life . If you have blood pressure issues, this city will ease your woes. I’d love to live there, but then what would I do with all the tension inside me? USA is not a place for sissies. Nice video.
Thank you! Yes, there is much serenity to be found here! Of course making an international move during a pandemic is not for sissies either 😆 That keep your tension in good supply!
It depends on the part of town and time of day. I personally don’t think it’s any noisier than a similar-sized city. When choosing a place to live, visit it during the day, weekend and evening to get a better picture of noise level. We did this and are happy with the low noise level where we are.
@@goexploreecuador , that's what I was thinking watching the video, seemed much the same as here as far as noise goes. Love your videos, they are so well done. Thanks so much.
Thanks for your great videos. We have booked a trip end of October to look into retiring there early next year! We will also travel to Cotacacci to check that out. Can you recommend any neighborhoods that are affordable?
Hi Mike, congrats on your planned trip. Really there are good affordable neighborhoods throughout the city. You can message me through our Explore Ecuador facebook page or email at info@exploreecuador.net. Safe travels!
I think that in every video for people who want to live or visit high-rise cities, make the recommendation of how difficult it is to live in high-rise cities, not everyone can breathe well in height.. But. I think they can adapt over time
That is a good point. For sure it is important that you first visit anywhere that you intend to live long-term. For us altitude is no problem. For others it may well be. So please make an exploratory visit prior to relocating to Cuenca, or anywhere. 😊😊
