I have recognized that those who have a good grasp of earth's history and the Bible, have an increase ability to expound on The Word.
I also realise that those who are less literate in English and comprehension, seem to be confused easily as well. Many can't understand definitions. Many can't understand that many English words have other language origins. Many can't realise words may change over time.
This team has been really good at going down to the basics for understanding.

Very well done. I appreciate the work you did here to highlight the reality of a universal “controversy”.
Experientially it makes sense that there is a grander controversy in the Bible. If, as our preterist friends would have us believe, it was all finished at or before 70ad, then what are we still doing here? There is so much pain and suffering. It follows that Christ has a purpose in all this suffering. That is where the Great Controversy has good explanatory power.

You are indirectly saying the law is the center of the great controversy. Correct me if I got you wrong. I don't know what you mean by Law. Do you mean the law given by Moses.
The subject of the great controversy that lead to a fight in heaven is Satan's pride and not the law. The argument between God añd Satan took place long before the Law was given at Sinai and even before the fall of man.
How did Lucifer sin in Heaven without a law?

@@thatnicekid04 The Sabbath Rest of God was only instituted after the creation was completed. But only God enter into his rest. The 7th day Sabbath law was only given at mount Sinai much later on. So this cannot be the center of what you called the great controversy.
The center of the great controversy as you call it, is the Kingdoms that Christ is coming down to establish here on earth and Satan wants to rule that Kingdom (Isaiah 14:12-13). But God has appointed his Son to inherit the Kingdom.
The statue of Daniel is about the clash of the Kingdoms as it has been and will be in the end times when the the Kingdom of God comes down and crash the enemy's Kingdom.

You have to remember because it point to a real Sabbath Rest in Christ. (Mathew 11:28-29) A Rest for your soul.
But my point is, this is not the subject of controversy because the issue between God and Satan took place way before the 10 commandment was given.

Y’all I’m not seeing where Satan and God are waring over the law( specifically the Ten Commandments/ the sabbath). You’re importing the GCT into the text here. We know Satan was prideful, he said that he would “be like the most high” but I’m not seeing where he accused God of making an unjust law. That’s my understanding of what the “Great Controversy” is. It’s about God law right?

Satan SINNED. Sin is the transgression of the LAW. Therefore, Satan rebelled against God's LAW. Pretty simple. And then he tempted Eve to SIN. (transgress the LAW). Get it?
@@jeanclaude7018 Yes I understand sinning is transgression of the law. Satan did that, I get that. I’m trying to figure out we get from Satan sinning to Satan accusing God that His law is unjust. And now we have to prove that we can keep his law to exonerate God from Satans accusations. Can you show me that from the Bible?

The definition says (people) the controversy is( between (people) the (devil is not people )! last time I knew he was doing your atonement in Leviticus 16:10 .according to (people ).. in a public. Setting!! requires people. like SDA.. who claim that their false prophet says that's the the case. And that is their confession of Faith to become a member...God is spirit! Not people.
