Evolution of Paper Luigi (2000 - 2018)

Let's see how Luigi's incarnation in the Paper Mario series, Paper Luigi, evolved in all of his video game appearances from 2000 to 2018.
At the start of Paper Mario, Luigi accompanies Mario to Princess Peach's Castle for her party. Once Bowser started lifting Peach's Castle into the sky with his own castle, Luigi escaped back to his house, where he is found for the remaining duration of the game.
While Mario is on his mission to collect the Crystal Stars in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Luigi is on a mission of his own. After every chapter in the game, Mario could find Luigi and listen to his story in Rogueport.
In Super Paper Mario, Luigi plays a very large role. He appears as a recurring boss in the form of Mr. L with his Brobot. Luigi is also a playable character as the last character to join Mario's party. His special move is the Super Jump.
Luigi makes another appearance in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. Here, he can be seen in the backgrounds and scenery within five areas: Goomba Fortress, Drybake Stadium, Whitecap Beach, Whiteout Valley and Rugged Road.
In Paper Mario: Color Splash Luigi helps Mario and Huey reach Black Bowser's Castle with his Kart once all the Big Paint Stars have been found.
Paper Luigi is also depicted in various trophies in the Super Smash Bros. series and has a cameo appearance in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.
