The purpose of a friends and family badge is to show officers when you get pulled over and say I'm a close friend or family member of an officer. I don't like that this exists, but it does. And obviously you would need the badge in the car to do that. He also has a CnC license (you can see it in his wallet), so the gun is reasonable too (it's Florida). And finally 10-4 is an incredibly common response in ANY job where you use a radio. Whether you're trucking, working in certain types of warehouse (which I think he said he did), or operate a ham or short wave radio. Is he guilty? Yeah. Is he dumb? Yeah. And all the dummies that liked it as well obviously only like it because the only thing they UNDERSTOOD about the comment was “congratulating an officer” so they just liked the comment by default even tho they didn’t even understand what you said because what you said makes no sense. The officer did his job, exactly what he was paid to do just like EVERY SINGLE OTHER OFFICER. THATS THEIR JOB. So your congratulating and officer because he did his job? Well then why don’t you do the same for EVERY SINGLE PERSON that does their job? Police officers CHOOSE to do their job, no one forces them. But people need to congratulate them ? That makes zero sense specially officers that whine and complain they have a hard job, then quit. YOU SIGNED UP for what you do and can easily leave, so it’s obviously not as hard as the babies that whine try and act like it is because if it really was they would quit just like they did when they used to work at McDonald’s was too hard, they quit and now got a job where they ride around all day and get to be nosey and be in ALL THE ACTION. @@mrzjohnson4 yeah I've had similar situations, and unfortunately people just aren't going to care unless they are genuinely worried about the safety of their animal. @@MattyDemello what does getting pulled over have to do with being caught falsely identifying yourself as an officer?
You can tell this officer does his cardio frequently 😂
The Heavy Breather needs a WIND SOCK on the microphone for his body cam!
Dude they always sound like their out of breath remember when the show cops was running and the camera guy always sounded out of breath? Even though he was always faster than the cops he was supposed to be filming chasing the criminal
"On February 23, 2018,"
fuck off, it was probably freezing outside.
@@tttriple it's FL bro winter here is 65 degrees
Half the problem is probably the vests they have to wear, but maybe he could stand to get a little cardio too 😂
They have to wear a lot of gear. Not sure how much it weighs exactly. But if I had an extra 20 or 30 pounds strapped on to me, I would be panting too.
So, THAT'S what accountability looks like? He was able to "figure it out" and, now, "knows what time it is".
Real quick. Sargent.
He knows that he ISN'T a state certified agent
I will take a polygraph right now. "I didn't Do ANYTHING WRONG" "I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG"
He says he was thinking about just driving to the station and giving himself up?
I’m pretty sure he would have been a lot harder on the guy if he would have been a officer and it seems like he was ready to take him to jail up until the end. maybe something else was going on in there jurisdiction and they didn’t feel it was necessary to arrest a petty criminal who is already under mediocre surveillance from his employer due to his job.
Bruh how can you be that out of breath from walking and driving 🤦🏻♂️
Graduated from the Jeremy DeWitte academy.
DeWitte*
U can call him "J"
Show some respect lol
no, he didn’t lie or demand to see a supervisor…plus not a sex offender
Took the words right out of my mouth. Why is it always Florida? I live here, and I cringe every time it's someone from Florida.
That requires much more insurance fraud.
Can't believe he gave up his friend so easily, he would have been able to not very easily.
I appreciate how the officers conducted themselves with their bodycams.
he has 100% done this many times before. love how he throws his friend under the bus lol. all he had to say was he found the badge he was already screwed, no need to get his friend screwed also
I worked with this guy. He would tell on people about stupid shit to try to get promoted.
Seriously, not the best friend material. And the guy knows exactly how long he's had the badge, sounds like he values it a biiiiiit too much to have not used it before.
@@ObesePuppies I wouldn't say it's a crooked cops thing. It's a thing any friend would do for theirs. Would you throw your friend under the bus like that because you used a gift of theirs to flex and got caught up?
@@ObesePuppies we don’t know enough of the story to just assume that she is crooked, Nice try though
@@ObesePuppies Its not the same. This guy isn't a cop, he's just a civilian. So covering for his buddy who's a cop wouldn't be the same as a cop covering for a cop.
Work as a security officer supervisor for 15 years can’t tell you how many guys that have worked for me that just crave to act like LEO’s It’s scary the extent they go.
“I love animals, I was more worried about the dog getting hurt”
*A few hours earlier*
“If I see that dog loose again I’m gonna kill it”
Something ain’t adding up here
To be fair, sometimes people need that kind of reality check. If they don't seem to realise the dangers of allowing their pet to escape and run across roads then the threat of having it destroyed might be what's necessary, even if its a completely empty threat. The guy went about it completely wrong and it in no way justifies his behaviour or impersonation but at the same time I can see what he was trying to do and I know how frustrating it is to be in a situation like that
Ehh he did go about it the wrong way, but a couple houses in my town are super irresponsible and their dogs are always running in front of cars. I saw one of the guys at a store one day and told him, “man, one day 1 of those pups is gonna f’n get hit if you can’t keep them out of the road.” Told me to mind my damn business. A couple weeks later one of them was killed in the road. Hate seeing sad shit like that when it can be avoided.
@@mrzjohnson4 yeah I've had similar situations, and unfortunately people just aren't going to care unless they are genuinely worried about the safety of their animal. If the traffic doesn't scare them then sometimes you need to give them something that does for example saying to them "if your dog comes into my yard I will shoot it to defend my property/pets/children/self" which you might be legally entitled to do but would never in a million years dream of actually doing. If that stops them then I'd say its a good thing even if it makes you look like an as. Just don't make threats to break the law
With the possible language barrier, he may have meant he could've killed the dog, as it was loose in the middle of the road.
@@2K9s its never a fun situation but if you have to be a bit scary in order to protect someone/something or give someone a reality check then its better than doing nothing and seeing something happen that could have been prevented. Same applies to kids roaming at night or doing unsafe things like breaking into abandoned buildings, sure we all did that stuff as kids because that's what kids do but sometimes you have to call their bluff and tell them cops are coming or that kind of thing so they bugger off home to stop them from actually getting in trouble or worse badly hurt.
This guy should have been arrested. He also admitted he used badge twice before to get out of traffic incidents and keeps it in his car for that exact reason.
i surprised as I thought in US to impersonate police is serious crime and he got only fine.
100% he should of been arrested . Impersonating an officer of the law is a crime. Full stop
@@MrKcease Agreed. Yes, he definitely should have been.
LOL II heard this video playing in my sons room and all I could hear was the hard ass breathing thought my son was in his room watching something nasty LMFAO
He only got a misdemeanor and a $400 fine??? That's such a slap on the wrist!
Being cooperative and taking responsibility for your actions goes a long way during sentencing.
first offense plus plea deal…he wasn’t like the other guys featured before, he might actually get reformed
Would you prefer a 20yr sentence for a non violent crime ?
Did you see his skin color?
@@vitohov8824 did you read his name?
When I was a teenager in NYC, my best friend had a coin from her old man. She guarded that with her life and I didn't even consider asking "can I get one, too?" She also never abused it. I'd like to think such standards are upheld by most, but obviously not.

Cop: 'Are those tattoos symbolic?'
Suspect: 'No'
Suspect: *Proceeds to explain how his tattoos are symbolic*
This ain’t the first time. You don’t carry a badge for 5 years for nothing.
Wow dude tried to throw his cop "friend" who gave him the badge under the bus for no reason. Responding deputy did a better job protecting her than her "very good friend"... He's in for a really rough time bringing that type of behavior to prison if the state picks up charges
He said his cousin at first
He just told the whole story, nothing wrong with that. And his friend should not be handing out badges, she's partially at fault for this whole thing.
I call bullshit on the whole story. You cant just give your badge away. My dad is a cop and I remember him freaking out and offering me 50 dollars to find his badge because he couldn't find it. And he said he'd be fired if he lost it. It's no joke. You guys that think somebody can just give their badge away for fun and get another one like it's a replacement screen on a phone or some shit
I respect that he was honest and took responsibility for his actions, but also there's a right to not incriminate himself. If he would of said nothing there's a possibility paperwork would of been filed for charges and the attorneys office could have came back with not enough evidence to charge him. No matter what he said he didn't help himself out.
Never speak to police. It can only hurt you.
I agree
Just because he got lucky doesn’t make him smart
The comment I was looking for lol the entire video I was like shut up man. Could’ve been a he said she said case. But I do respect him taking accountability. Even if it was dumb ha.
like the police or not, its a civic duty to be truthful with them. Rule of law matters. The guy may still get charged and arrested. The cop spared him the inconvenience/embarrassment of getting booked then and there
This is the best response thread on RUclips. Yeah, I respect homie for owning up to his mistake. Guilty. Talking and admitting said guilt gets you guilty. Shutting up and getting an attorney would have gotten him off. Tough right?
Be honest and take the beating or lie and get away with it without any consequences?
Interesting indeed.
