      Yes - cooked can be less trouble than raw, maybe try reducing ratio of cruciferous veggies to other veggies

    My understanding about calories is that - IF YOU ARE METABOLICALLY ILL or compromised - it’s NOT about calories. It is about HORMONES. 1500 calories as ice cream has FAR worse effect metabolically than 1500 calories of veggies and protein. Etc,

    What about tracking macros? Should we be paying attention to the numbers if fat loss is the goal?

      If you can stay on a deficit it doesn't make any difference wether you're eating more protein, carbs or fats. The thing is, fats are more calorie dense, so you need to eat less food to maintain deficit, while whole and unprocessed starches and fruit tend to offer a lot more volume for far less calories
      A gram of fat has 9 calories, a gram of carbs or protein has only 4. And since plants are mostly water, by focusing on them you will get to eat a lot

    how many calories are you eating now? nice muscles. Are you lean bulking?

      My maintenance is about 3000 ish at the moment with all sport I do. Just happy maintaining but I am starting to think I should have a real go at building more muscle
