I’m a sucker for a good marketplace deal! That pickup is looking sharp!

Todd, you should look at getting a set of Snap Pads now for your stabilizers. They are made out of recycled tires I think.
Your mudflats look great and you will see a big difference, they work really well.
I like your topper and running boards. Well done.

Thanks Scott! We were looking at the snap pads and may get them in the future. We just had the topper painted to match so it looks even better now. Thanks for watching!

Just a tip put blue painters tape above and below where your going to caulk leaving 1/8 gap, apply caulk then you can take your finger and push that caulk into the crack without getting it all over the panel and remove tape. Done

I added wheel well liners to my 450 , sure makes it cleaner . If you add rear ones you may need to remove mud flaps first and reinstall after adding liners . I had a cap similar to yours on my 2016 F150 and they color matched it to the tri color. It was close but not perfect. The tri color has some metal flake in it that hard to factory match .

The truck cap doesn't need a thing. 🙂 Also, that silicone seal will last as long as any RV seal and removing the door.

Love the E2 on my '22 F-150 Tremor, towing our '22 Geo Pro 19FBS. Took a little playing around to dial it in but it's perfect now.
    Great video, thank you!

Todd your entire rig looks awesome bud! Truck caps are must in my opinion. . But you need to lower that truck sir.. tall trucks depict mall crawlers lol. Us working men need trucks with lower beds we can get in and out of.
Looking forward to learning abouy your towing experiences

Small paper cup, hole in the bottom, cover the shinny bolt heads, few squirts metal etching flat black. just enough to knock down the shinny. SS so it won't last long, might have to hit it again in 6 months to a year.

I would not use grease. It collects dirt. I would you a dry lubricant, like you use for your slide guides!

Did you replace the side steps on the truck? They look lower and not original, the tremor truck is very high

    • @RunawayRoses
      @RunawayRoses  5 месяцев назад

Yes I did replace the side steps so it would be easier to get in and match the wheels better. Thanks for watching!

On concrete pads, you will still need a Lego underneath.

Todd any tips on searching for truck caps on market place? I have a 2022 F150 with 6 5 bed. Seems like I can't wade through all the ads when putting in a generic f150 truck cap search

I found ours on Facebook marketplace. I found some local shops but they were all new and very expensive. Keep an eye out on marketplace and maybe one will pop up. Thanks for watching!

Thanks sir. Really enjoy your easy demeanor. I was thinking of going to the fall truck camper rally down your way. But when i saw a beautiful Northern lite on a nice 3500 i realized it would be too high for traveling backroads. I am thinking of a used slide in pop up when boating or a trailer now.Safe travels.

Don't put grease on those feet, it'll just attract sand, gravel, dirt etc.
