Wow what a difference. Yeah I like it better, reflects more light too. A lot of work. Nicely done. Funny, i bought the snifer awhile back as well, after watching kenny's video too 😂. 🍻
Always sand the laminate with heavy 60 or 80 grits paper, with a belt sander or rotary grinder, then clean with lacquer thinner. For best results, 2 coats of glue on both the existing (sanded) laminate and the new laminate. Rolling the laminate is a key step to insure proper bonding, if you don't have a roller, a block of wood covered with a heavy cloth works well, or even a solid tap with a hammer on top of wood block! The same thinner above can be used to clean the contact cement, and always allow glue to dry to the touch, before bonding the 2 pieces together. Never bond when glue is still wet or sticky, it's better to be totally dry, than wet. When possible, generally speaking, you can sometimes flip the piece and you'll often have virgin plywood or particle board, which is better than relaminating over existing laminate. FYI, the old metal Venetian blinds used for window shades make excelled spacers, instead of wood dowels. In a pinch, brake cleaner will also debond freshly stuck laminate, should you make a mistake in the placement of the new laminate. Good Luck, I'm in the process of ordering a new Bigfoot trailer, and have really enjoy your channel, I may be doing something similar with the King bed! Cheers!!
You are correct about Bigfoot needing to offer more interior options. We had called to see if they could or would do a solid surface counter top like Corian . They said no . Oh well we asked, they can do some interior changes like mirror delete , skylight delete and a few color changes .
Really enjoying the videos. We’re picking up our 25RBQ this weekend at Southland. Live in Norcross. Hope to catch up with you guys in person one day soon.😊
Good upgrade, Todd. Carla seems to like it. I noticed you put the new laminate on top of the old. Did you have any problems connecting the sink drain pipe?
Beautiful job, Todd. I'm wondering about how you used the router to trim the excess laminate that you glued on the edge of the countertop. Did you set the router bit deeper than when you made the first router pass (prior to gluing the edge laminate on)? Thanks!
Wow! Looks great! Oh! She definitely owes you some wifely duties!

I did use a wood block to push it down, I didn’t have the roller. I didn’t show all the steps I did. Thanks for watching.

I viewed a 25B25RQ in Washington (for sale) and it had Corian. Very nice aftermarket upgrade. Once you own it do what you want.
Lucky they didn’t cancel your order just for asking. Happened to us.

We haven’t ordered one yet, still have our 5thwheel to sell first.
@@cwtex59Just be careful what you ask for when you finally do order. The President is very vindictive, once he gets a thorn under his skin.
Your a pro at this Todd!!! Super handy looks great enjoy!!!
Thanks! I appreciate that. 👍
Nice job Todd! You will loose small stuff when you set it down on that wild laminate pattern! We do anyways.

Thanks, had no problems putting it back together. Thanks for watching!

Yes I made the router bit slightly deeper than the stock 45 degree on the countertop. Thanks for watching.
Todd, do you ever go to Tybee Island, GA? I am just wondering.
We have not been there yet but we will go someday.
Question
What hitch do you use when towing your BF TT?
We’re putting a video out tomorrow on this very topic, stay tuned!
