Thanks again and in a couple summers I"ll try to do my own RUclips channel showing how I paint psychedelic guitars. You've been like a guardian angel showing me how to do these whiskey taps. I built an art studio just like Kathleen Miller from YT (Kathleen Miller Paint Pouring )Channel. I will practice her techniques this summer using the MDF blanks as canvases. I will definitely send some pictures of the artwork once I feel confident that I have mastered the technique. I just made some of these, and one thing I can suggest is, when you drill the glass, drill SLOWLY! If you go fast the glass can splinter and shard on the inside of the block, and those pieces are larger than the hole you drill, and it’s a pain to get them out.

Then on my glass I mark the hole 1-1/4” down and 1-1/4” in.

I do measure every one and have to adjust the size of the box sometimes. I like them to be snug so they don't easily slide out. I may be too picky :). Most times if I need to snug them up I use self adhesive felt and line the inside of the box so that the block can still be removed if need be, but not easily slide out if someone picks it up and tilts it.
